Free Dining 2008!!!

I know this has probably been posted ten thousand times but I could not find it. We were there during free dining 2007 but could not book free dining 2008 because we did not know if we could get those weeks of vacation. Here is the thing if there is free dining offered to the public we are going to go Sept 26-Oct 3rd but if its not we are going to rent DVC points for October some time. Do you think they will offer it to the public??

They could, but we won't know til at least April, just like it was for this year's promo.

I don't know how this works now. It used to be that you would get the package/rate based on when you checked in. Disney changed that for regular room pricing in 2008, but I don't know if it applies to promotional packages.
