Free Dining 2008 Watch

I'm on the phone now wiht the CM....1hr & 49 minutes on hold (I was cut off on the original CM after 37 min wait!!)

Now I'm on hold as her computer has just crashed, after I've done everything with her but prior to her giving me a confirmation number!!!!!!!!

Still on hold.....now 2hrs & 11 mins!!!

Started calling at 7:45, picked up at 8:00, on hold for 53 minutes. I modified an existing ressie for POP, 8/31-9/10 standard 2 rooms.

I had already booked ASMo preferred room, and made my ADR’s. Called in today and added free dining. I was on hold for over an hour. I used my mobile phone so once I got ready to leave for work I could take the call with me. Do you know how hard it is to get ready only using one hand!!!.

My wife and I carpool together so she was able to take over phone duty in the car.

Tried today and was told no free dining available for POP. Only Sports or Music Values available. My guess is they hold rooms back for awhile. This happened last year too as POP became widely available in May.

I had this problem earlier online. It was for only a 3 day rez. I went back and added a day and voila -- available! It would seem that Disney is reserving POP for its guests staying longer. Interesting.

Now I have duplicate reservations, though. I tried to get the online chat to cancel one, but they say I have to call. He also chided me (gently) for having duplicate reservations. But I can't call because all circuits are still busy! Oh, well, I'll wait.

Called at 7am EXACTLY, on hold for 80 minutes.

Finally got through, reservations took 20 minutes.

Booked for 7 nights at CSR with free dining, YEAH!

Well worth the wait!

Glad I made all my dining reservations weeks ago!

hooorahhhh! I got free dining! I had to upgrade my room to a courtyard view, but thats ok!! I STIIL saved over $600!

Even though it says All Circuits are busy stay on the phone! You'll hear a click click and then "Welcome to the WDW Resort..." It puts you right in queue! That's what happened to me!

877 -939-3732..... if you are less than eight people and have been to WDW five times your sequence after the welcome would be this: 1, 2, phone#w/area code, 1, 1, 1, then you will be on hold

Thank YOU!!!! Your phone number got me in and was only on hold for 10 minutes. Got the AKL :Savanna View Bunk Bed, for four w/free dinning, park hopper all for only $2850. Moved from CSR to AKL and saved $800, what a deal!!!!!

Waiting for my TA to get back to me. Aaaaaghhhhhhh! I called and left her a message at 8:45 and she opens at 9am. When do you think I can call her back to see if she got my message. The waiting is killing me.

Woot woot.... free dining rocks !!!

I started the mad finger dialing/re-dialing at 6:56 am and from the other posts I see, was definitely one of the first ones through as I had less than a 10 second wait for a CM. As I was wrapping up my reservation (about 7:15am) the CM told me that there were over 80 calls in the queue

We are all set for September 20th to 27th at Coronado Springs

I am so excited. It isn't every day you can save over $600.00 bucks with one phone call

OK people I just booked Pop Century 8/27-9/01 3 Adults 1 Kid for 1300 something w 6 days basic MYW wow!!!!!!!!!!

Took me just 5 mins.

Started dialing at 6:58 and was changing my reservations at 7:25 from the paid dining plan to free dining. Everything was wrapped up with no problems. Now all I got to do is have Southwest start showing flights later than 8/22

OK! So I called this morning at 7am and got thru at 735 am and added free dining to my Ressie and added a new room for MIL! Well the CM told me it took 18 min to find me a room for her! He never told me it was Standard! So I checked the info on the website and I had preferred which I had booked for sometime now and he had Standard booked for her! That won't work we plan on being near one another! So I calle back and of course no preferred available for our dates! So I changed my preferred to standard to be sure we are at least near one another! He also told me that I could not request connecting rooms to many adults! 1st I heard this! But thats fine! I did still request 60's or 50's ground floor Pool View even though we have standard rate now we'll see what happens!

Thanks, I didn't even think of that. I panicked and got so worried about not being able to get the resort I wanted w/ the free dining, so I booked my two rooms on the website, managed to panic enough that I didn't change the prefered room on one to a standard, and went with 4 day hopper passes thinking that if I can't change it from 1 day to 4, I'd rather not be able to change it from 4 down to 1 and be messed up w/ higher ticket prices or something.

Two rooms, Pop Sept. 6-11 with free dining, followed by a Disney Cruise.

Yah!

The waiting is finally over. My AAA TA just called and said that everything is set. We're booked at POFQ for 8/24-8/30 with free dining. Upgraded to deluxe, so now I have to make ADR's. I think we'll do a character meal everyday!

I called in at 7:01am and didn't get thru until 8:40!! I cancelled my old ressies that I had w/ my pin code and got new ones...3 nights in a preferred room (no standard available) at ASMovies (we are coming off a Disney cruise). Happy to have free food...our 2nd time with this.

Wooo Hooo!!

My TA just called me - she was able to get me free dining at the resort I had originally booked at... There were not any preferred rooms available at POP for our dates so she got us standard instead. Which is no problem at all...
