Free Dining 2008 Watch

Just booked 9/2 to 9/12 at POP for 2 A and 1K. I was on hold less than 5 mins. and it took about 8-10 more minutes to book. I didn't book my ADRS yet. Have to look at calendar, park times, etc. before I do that.

I haven't received anything from DV yet (and I'm a charter member) What's the deal with SSR? Would love to stay there! Last year I know they upgraded people who were staying at POP over Labor Day weekend to either SSR or OKW. We weren't going until the 6th (Th) so we didn't get the upgrade offer. Maybe this year????

I still haven't receiced the DV offer email yet either. Went ahead and booked at Pop for mid-September. We usually go between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but with the FD, we decided to try earlier in the year.

Got my ADRs already, can't beleive after all the hullabaloo and anticipation, its all over with!

Anyone going to be at Pop 9/15-9/30, or at MNSSHP on 9/16, see ya there!

I booked this morning...I was on the phone for 45+ mins. but who cares...we got exactly what we wanted September 5th-13th at POR- this will be our first time in a moderate! I hope everyone gets what they want when it opens to general public...PS I'm from NC too

I just can't believe that after so much hype and worrying it's all over and now I just have months to mess with our schedule and find out exactly what we want to do. I did the ADRs weeks ago and now that I got the free dining added to my ressie I don't have much do plan anymore.

I want to find the best deal for a mod or deluxe. Trying to get it as close to $1000 as possible for 2 adults and 1 junior/age 10 (3 adults?). I've sent a price request off to DU for the 5 night/6 day package w/ free dining. I hate these price quotes everywhere that are for a family of 4! What does it cost a family of 3?! That's what I want to know. Researching.....

The price is per person

$57 per person, per day for family of 4 at select Value Resorts (std room)

I think they say family of 4, since only 4 people can be in a Value room. They are pretty specific which kind of room you can have with the Free Dining.

The only Deluxe they have is SSR

$104 per person, per day for family of 4 at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (studio)

So you will pay $312 per day to stay there plus tax.

Well I was on here before I left for work this morning! It was at page 86 and now it's up too 109!!! I was shocked! LOL! OK! So I have a question? I am going from 8/26 thru 8/31 and I want to make the trip very budget minded! So I have now a room at POP w/ Dining and MYW 6day Hoppers for 4! Now My MIL is coming and I may have to take GREAT Niece only an infant no big deal with her! But do I do 2 rooms or do I do 1 room at POR will it be tight? My son can sleep on the little bed! The baby can sleep with whoever we don't technically need a pack n play! Or What would you do ?

ME 35, DH 36, MIL 58 , DD 13, DS9 please tell me what you all think I curerntly have a 30% off code!

It is a gift for DD's 8th grade graduation!

PS I can't add FDP until thursday!

I'm going with 3 people who haven't been in about 20 years, so I'm so excited just planning every detail.

I'm happy that you got your ressies a few weeks ago, though. I'm sure they're going to book like that (snaps fingers) because of everyone getting the FD.

Thats what I was leaning towards! Thanks! So should I definitely do preferred???????? I have a 30% off cose and I figured out that free dining was the better deal does this sound right? I'm taking the day off to get booked! But of POP for some crazy reason sells out then Asmu is my 2nd and Asmo my 3rd! Not sure of 4th hope it don't come to that!

Booked today around 4:00. I got a CM in seconds, and she was so nice! At first she told me POP was booked for my dates, but she checked again and BAM - I was in!

8-30 to 9-13 with DH and DD

I'm not sure if you are asking if you can book your room today and then book PH on Thursday or if you are asking if AKL is available with the free dining or if you are asking if you can add PH after you book.

The answer is yes, AKL is available for free dining. We booked a standard room with free dining and we booked water parks and more. You can add ticket options at any time, it doesn't matter when. Hope I answered your questions.
