I call regualrly and never have a code.. I get nothing in snail or email.. I know people post of these Promotions... But I question just how many people they are offered too. Maybe because we go every year disney doens't feel like they need to give us an incentive... heck they are right... but once the kiddos are a bit older... see ya disney... hello carribean cruise!!! Unless there is an incentive (free dining) to do both ...
So, in the meantime
yes, they may be offering some specials... but they seem to be quite limited

Free dining isn't a "code" for some select people. It is in fact a public offer and it is advertised on the Disney website. You really have to call like the first day because they only allow so many rooms at each hotel to be booked with that promotion. So keep watching! I have my fingers crossed for you guys!

The one for free dining was that some of the people that were there on free dining last year, were given the chance to "bounceback" in 2008 for free dining (date range 8/30-9/27).

Not everyone was aware and many people missed getting it, as the stipulation was you had to call while you were still checked-in to reserve (and then put a deposit down).

We were staying at SSR, we were never notified. There was a message on the TV that said you could call for a special deal, but no mention was made that it would be to book the free dining for 2008! Many people staying at Pop Century received a flyer. I am not sure about other resorts.

I found out about it as it was a hot topic on the Dis!

Basically, the bounceback 2008 is the same offer that was offered for the past few years, only it was offered to guests in 2007 that were there already on the free DDP promo!

To add to this yes. I was @ POP last year. But, I never received a flyer, or notification. I did not even notice it on tv. However, my mother had received, a flyer in her room 2 days before we were to leave. I had to put down a 200 deposit to book. Before I left, and that was it. I am pretty sure. It will be offered to the public! That cm, sounded very convinced!! Good luck everyone!

Personally, I book thru Dreams Unlimited... they will try and find discounts for you. Last year, she got me the free dining and even after that, I got an email stating that there was a discount that would apply for me, but that the discount that I have with free dining was still the better one and no changes were made... but that makes me believe if something better had come about that I would have been able to get it.

Oh my goodness! After the trip. I got terribly depressed. I refused to come on the Disboards. Even though. I booked bounceback. I could not stomach having to wait a whole year. So, of recent, 2 or 3 months. I have been coming on periodically. Then, I see your name Shhhq, wow! I cannot believe it!! So, you are going back great for you!! How is your mom?? I see our dates dont match. But, I hope you have a wonderful time. I am finally getting my husband to go with me.

Thats what i was thinking I dont frequent there living so close as crazy as that sounds but we go maybe 3-4 times a summer! I'm hoping we will hear something even if it's nothing good next week it's better than the anticipation! I just returned from New Yorks St Patricks day parade Wow! what a parade! And it was packed!

Here's something interesting I called disney on March 6th to change a few things and asked the cm if I had a pin code attached to my name and she told me no mam I'm sorry you do not! So I said ok disappointed of course and I came home and checked my email as usual and there it was an email from disney with a 30% off code! So there is hope! And if disney doesn't offer free dining I'm sure they will do some kind of promo and you'll just have to work the numbers if you already have a discount to see which is better .

You will probably have better luck than me! I'm hoping for August 26th -31st! If it is September I may change but I'm a bit reluctant because my DD is entering High School come September!
