Free Diners/Which week?

Trying to gauge crowd levels for free dining. Please vote.

I think that the later you wait the better, so the last week possible would get my vote(that is when we are going). It would be silly to say people don't take thier kids out of school to vacation but I think that they tend to do that more toward the beginning of September/ end of August for a holiday getaway (Labor Day)
One thing to consider is that if you book extended dates toward the later part of the month of Sept. the Food & Wine Festival will begin at Epcot.
This may increase the crowds there? But also something to experience.

School doesn't start here until the Thursday after Labor Day, so it's the last week of August for us.

We'll actually be there 2 weeks... the 15th through the 26th. Have been this same time for 3 previous years and found crowd levels to be wonderful!

I agree Sept. 21-28 for us at POP on the bounceback free DDP. We hit the F&WF in 06 and 07 and can use the SC for some of the food there.

I'm not gonna vote until thursday when I hopefully get the dates I want. So far the poll seems to indicate that the end of the month is gonna be the busiest, lol.

Our schools don't go back till the Tues after labour day, so we'll be there the last week of August, just like we were last year....perfect way to end the summer!!

We went from September 23-30 in 2006 and they were out in full force. They did not ruin our vacation, they were just annoying. On park benches, the hotel room door, etc. Hope this helps.

we'll actually be arriving mid-week.......9/3 through 9/12. Although, we don't get *in* to MCO until 10:00 pm on the 3rd - does that count????

We are going Aug 30 - Sept 9. So far it looks like it is the least busiest time. My logic was that in Canada (& I ignorantly assumed the same for the US), school gets back in the day after labour day so many parents wouldn't want their children to miss the first day of school.

They are there but don't seem to be that bad, but whenever we have left the disney area .... we have found certain areas to just be covered.
Try go-carting through a swarm of these things LOL

DH and I will be there Sept. 6-14 without kids to celebrate my 40th b-day. We booked bounceback and this is our 4th time doing free dining, although for the past 3 years, we always went the last week of August thru Labor Day weekend.

We're staying at POFQ.

We are trying to book 8/24 - 8/31.... Right now we have a reservation at WL but we are trying for Poly.
