Does anyone know if there will be any up coming offers for free dining for 2013?
My Mum is getting married there in October 2013 and didn't want to book and miss out if the offer comes back again. I am assuming they do these offers around Christmas time for the coming year? Very excited about going back. Never stayed at a Disney hotel before always stayed off park so will be a "whole new world " for us! :yay:

over on another forum Florida Escapes have posted the free Disney Dining Plan will be available again from Monday 20th August for holidays in 2013. It doesn't say if the accomodation reductions or gift card will be available like previous offers.

I was trying a dummy booking for next year and noticed that OKW and SSR were not showing up as an option. The last time that happened it was then back on with the room discount and free dinning. Which was why we booked for this year.
Not trying to get your hopes up but you never know.

We are looking at all the hotel but like the look of the Caribbean resort. Thank you for the replies. X

Only thing I would tell you about CBR is that while it is lovely it is one HUUUUGE resort with its own bus just to get from place to place on the resort.

is there usually a minimum stay for free ddp?

we were going to stay 3 nights AKL and 6 nights POFQ

You will only get DDP for first portion of your stay in a split stay!

Surely that's not strictly true? You'll only get the free DDP for the portion you choose it for as buy park tickets for I think?

I booked back in early April and got ddp for sept/oct next year. Glad I booked when I did. Pretty sure it'll come back on again later in the year though...

Your right Luke! To qualify for free dining you have to purchase park ticket with the hotel stay as one package which usually makes split stays with free dining cost prohibitive.

You would have to check the T&Cs for the offer if it is brought back but I think there may have been a minimum number of nights but as I hate moving hotels with a passion it's not something I checked.

Yes, the last promotion which ended 10th July required a minimum length of stay of five consecutive nights, and a maximum of 21 consecutive nights at the same participating Disney Resort Hotel.

Here's Disney's terms and conditions for their last Dine for Free offer;

“Free Dine” offer is available for bookings made between 10 April 2012 – 10 July 2012 for selected arrivals between 1 Jan -19 March and 7 Apr – 8 Dec 2013 inclusive. Eligibility for the Disney Free Dining promotion requires a minimum length of stay of five consecutive nights, and a maximum of 21 consecutive nights at the same participating Disney Resort Hotel. A Disney Dining Plan must be selected for all members of the party travelling who are aged 3 and over at time of travel and for the full duration of their stay. Children aged 3-9 (at time of visit) must order from the children’s menu where available. Disney Dining Plans are not valid for children under 3 years. Offer is only available if a package including accommodation at a Walt Disney World Moderate Resort, Disney Deluxe Resort or selected Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, plus Disney Tickets for the whole party and a Disney Dining Plan is booked together. Gratuities are not included. The number and type of rooms allocated to this offer are limited. “14 day ticket for the price of 7” offer is available for bookings made between 10 April 2012– 03 Dec 2012 for arrivals throughout 2013. For this time the 14 day ticket (Disney’s Ultimate Ticket) is available for the price of a 7 day ticket (Disney’s 7 – Day Premium Ticket). Disney’s Ultimate Ticket expires 14 days from first day of use. Child ages 3-9 years (at time of use).

Hi Starrysky - we have had this offer the last 2 years at SSR booking through Complete Orlando. I am desperate to get it again for 2013. Where were you trying to do your dummy booking?

Hey sweet pea I was just playing about on the Disney one to get some idea for next year. When I looked for OKW for next year as I said it was not showing up. When it did that last year when it came back available again it was with the offer.

OKW is still showing up for our dates (7th - 13th April 2013) as is SSR (although there are only 1 beds and up available) :)

We were looking for October next year. Looks like it will be free dinning at least on offer for this year but we will have to wait until Monday for any more info

Yay :cheer2: free dining is back and I've just book for next year! Staying at OKW in oct 2013. Just need to book flights now. :cool1:

When in October will you be there? We'll be there till the 6th at the Yacht Club. Can't wait, only my second time on the dining
plan!

We go on the 18th Oct. I've never stayed at a Disney resort befor as my Dad had a villa in Kissimmee but he sold it this year. Always wanted to stay at Disney and it will be like a completely different holiday I think. Can't wait. We looked at the yacht club but a bit above our budget. Have a great time. :)
