Free DDP

Hi,
We are planning on staying 3 nights on-site at disney & wondered if the free DDP is announced do you book your room then or can you book your room now and then have the free DDP added?

No.In order to be eligible for free dining you need to book a pkg.They can not just add free dining to a room ressie.Also , if and when free dining is announced , not every hotel may be available.Each resort will be given a certain number of free dining room allotments.The resorts with the most open rooms for a given time period will have the most free dining rooms avail.Certain rsorts may already be at projected occupancy for certain dates and would have minmal rooms avail. if any.You can try and book your pkg now, but there is absolutley no guarantee you won't need to cancel and rebook, switch your resort choice, or even your dates around.If free dining would be the only reason you will travel at that time, then I would wait and see when it is anounced and be prepared to book immediately.

You can book your package now and add on free DDP later. But there's no guarentee you won't have to change your reservation around a little.
