:rotfl2: well thats a different gift for Mothers day. Sort of thing I would buy, something practical.:thumbsup2
at the moment they're at pop for 15 nights, paid for the full dining plan, from manchester in economy, it's around £3200 for the 2 of them.

just rang to price up saratoga springs to get the free dining plan, it's around £5300 :scared1:

I did get around to doing a couple of costings last night, I am almost certain they have added cost of the dining into the package, I costed 3 weeks at OKW and it came out at £6,000 for 3 of us:scared1: crazy pricing.
Oh well maybe someone will find a deal.

Just found out Complete Orlando are doing the free dining without having to buy flights.

Just priced up our 16 nights in August OKW 2 adults 1 teen 3 x 21 day tix.
£3,585

Compared to Disney.co.uk
Without dining £3,129, with dining added £4,088

So not quite as good as free dining if it was offered with Disney but still a good discount. Maybe other resorts will be better pricing. Glad we booked it last year at £2,164:cloud9:

www.completeorlando.co.uk

Nope - its still working out £390 more expensive than the 14 for 10 offer on uk disney page + 14 day ultimate tickets and DDP, and VA flights

If you can take advantage of the 14 day offer I would expect that to be better but any other amount of days I would expect it cheaper with complete.
Every holiday needs pricing up all ways, I couldn't pay price for Virgin flights in August, crazy prices, not as bad out of season.

Just under £800pp for our dates when we booked last October, now at £840.40:scared1:
Thankfully we picked up business class with Delta for £465pp no way was I paying £800 or £2,400 for 3 of us in economy.

Thanks for posting all these deals.
Staying at POR for 10 nights with 14 day ultimate for us 3 comes in at £200 dearer, than with Disneyco.uk. You get free dining with one & free 4 nights with the other. The other moderates are even dearer.

I wonder if Disney are about to offer the free dining plan, and maybe VH have been offered the deal too. We'll have to watch out for other UK tour operators, as usually they offer it to all, but not at this time of year.

Usually if Disney.com are offering free dining it is any time soon, although of course we get offered it in the previous summer.

I was told by a CM when i called US disney about some prices..the free dining plan will be offered this aug - end of sept/oct. Details not know but will be announced end of April.
Must admit I am waiting for disneys free dining to be announced as we will only have to buy a one day base ticket to qualify (AP holder) where as most virgin deals come with 14 ticket!

Cool....did the CM any dates in August??

Unless you have an annual pass I cant see how booking on the us disney site (even with free dining) is a good deal. Just priced up 14 nights CSR king room 10 day magic your way pass with hopper and water parks for our Sept/Oct dates - but excluded dining (assuming its free) and its £800 more expensive based on $1.4 exchange rate :scared1:

At the moment it is speculation but it might be on the UK site too. The only reason i mentioned it is because I dont need any park tickets! If i needed park tickets too I would plump for the virgin offer! At the mo universal are running a good offer on discounts at there hotels and even with the exchange rate the deal is better than any UK travel agent is offering! Just thought i would mention it as it may appear on the uk site!

Oh yeah of course - I'm holding out for uk disney releasing free dining (I guess from the earliest the 1st April once the 14 for 10 offer ends) - if the offer works our better we will cancel our current disney uk offer and rebook.

The virgin holidays is still more expesnive for us than 14 for 10 plus DIY flights

Cool....this would be great...if they offer it for our dates...

Can I ask what offer you are holding at the moment??

You hear of so many conflicting reports :confused3

Having just come off the telephone with a CM the really helpful lady said that she is not aware of any Free Dining been offered agin this year to the UK, but that however they only get advised of the offers the day they are live !!!!

I suggested that there are rumours building that Free Dining may make an unexpected return for this year for us UK residents of which she replied "theres always a possibilty, but as she would only find out on the day she feels that the rumours as just pre speculations due to economy and not to count on it".

We have 3 weeks booked for this coming October, paying extra for the DDP, would love to be able to pay the £25.00 admin charge and get it thrown in for free by re-booking

does anyone know IF they offer free dining, whether it is likely to be full dining or quick service dining if you stay in pop?
i remember there being talk of them offering tiers of free dining last/this year (ie full dining if you stay in deluxe, counter service if you stayed in value), does anyone know if they actually did this?

I doubt they will offer any free dining in value resorts but nothing can be ruled out.

This was offer for UK deal this year(if booked last year) http://www.tcsignature.com/Pages/Static/Offers/Disney.html

You will see nothing for value, Quick service for Mods and regular DDP for Deluxe.

I've booked on the uk disney site and used their 14 nights for the price of 10 - it needs to be booked by the end of March and first night check in has to be by the 1 October 09 :)

On last years free DDP (and current virgin offer) you could upgrade from counter service DDP to regular DDP at mod level hotels - I think it was about £50 per person over a 14 night holiday?
