Free DDP in '14?

DISers help me on this one! I heard a rumor that Disney is offering free DDP in '14. We're going to the World in Dec. '14, and that would be on many levels of awesome! Can someone please confirm?!?! Thanx!

If you really want FD wait until they release the dates and then plan your vacation around those dates, IIRC Dec FD was offered in Aug this year.

I'm going the first week of December this year, a week that has gotten FD the last several years, and it's excluded this year. I'm going for my B-day so there was no way I was changing dates but if I could have gone 2 weeks earlier or 2 weeks later I could have gotten FD.

If you need to go a specific week I wouldn't count on FD, if you have some flexibility in your travel dates you should be able to get it.

I agree with not booking and counting on free dining being offered. Disney has really tightened the dates its available. I wouldn't expect it to get any better.

There are bounce back offers for 2014 free dining in resort rooms right now but they don't cover dates in December .

Your best source for information on discounts would be the codes and rates subforum of the resorts board. Based on this past year, I would not expect to see anything about December 2014 free dining until early August of the same year.
