Free DDP Booking SUCCESS!!? - Post 'Em Here!

I'm looking to book for only 2 nights and have been on hold for 40 minutes, will I regret waiting? I heard somewhere that it was a minimum of 5 nights but I see others have been able to book for less than that.. Can someone offer me some relief?

Just booked POP for August 30-sept 3. We really wanted Music-preferred room but was told both Music and Movies was sold out. I see, though, that both resorts are still available on the WDW reservation page. So do you think they are just sold out of "free dining" spots?

Disney only has x amount of rooms they are willing to discount if they have reached or close to reaching their allotment on discounted rooms for a particular category they won't offer it with the free dining even though they may be available at full price.

I posted this a few weeks ago saying that the more people book at regular rates the less availability there will be with the discounted offer but I was basically laughed at

So we'll be there a couple of the same nights. Your post about getting garden view Poly for around my dates gave me hope while on hold! I was holding for over an hour! I was convinced I was lost in CRO phoneland.

I requested a building close to the ceremonial hall. Have you stayed at Poly before? Did you request any certain location?

So excited! Now DH better not pull any "I can't take that week off" junk...I guess he can always stay home! I'm sure I can find someone who wants to go!

I've only been on hold about 10 minutes but I'm at work and can't stay on hold for an hour! Well, I guess I could since the management here is crap and nobody would notice but I have work to do!

I have to change my dates, AND my airfare but the savings in money is so good that I'm willing to deal with the $70 fee for changing the airfare. I'm hoping for 8/26 - 9/3 at WL and AKL. I want to split the stay 4 nights and 4 nights but I'm not sure if that's possible with the 5 night minimum. Otherwise I'll just do all 8 nights at WL.

I originally booked Poly for 4 nights with the 40% discount code and the Dolphin for $125 a night for another 4 nights but these savings come out better.

Yeah, we really do know. The dates are confirmed for Aug. 26-Sep 22. They might change this later on down the road, but you won't get anything today.

I am IN!!!! Finally, one hour and 42 minutes on hold. And now she has put me BACK on hold! WTH?? She says I am not in the system, I call there every single day. I am going to scream if I get cut off!

On hold for 1 hour 37 minutes. Got a great CM and everything switched over with no trouble. But, she did say her first call was a TA changing 15 ressies and the next one was another TA changing 30+ ressies. That's probably one of the reasons the hold times are so long.

We got CBR for standard view from 08/30-09/12, so that was still available.

Success!!!! One hour and 35 minutes holding. Got Pop Century for 9/22-9/29, 2 adults and one infant, standard view room for $1179. We are very happy!

I'm through! Haven't been on hold for much more tha 20 minutes (if that). I called the 407-828-8101 # rather than the 1-800 number though. But she had to put me back on hold.....

I wonder if it would work if you just have a Visa card not a Disney Visa, anyone know??? I really want to change my ressie for the free dining. We are going during that time frame, just want to take advantage of free dining.

All Done, WL, Standard room, Aug. 31 - Sept 8, tickets with water park and more option and free dining $2990.85. Added hopper option, total $3142, saved $400 when I switched from 40% off room to free dining. Hoping the best for everyone in line. AND I was able to switch from AKL to WL so construction won't be an issue at all.
