Free D23 Membership now available

D23's "Free" Membership is now available.

To get "Free" Membership, you must go to the Disney Store website and "buy" the membership for $0.00.

I received my membership number, which is ridiculously long. Then, you have to REGISTER on the D23 website. Apparently, they make you wait 24 hours to register - maybe to run a credit check.

No. It is worth exactly what you paid for it (or maybe even less). And you do not get a physical membership card so you cannot show it to buy D23 merchandise.

Well this indeed makes the free membership completely pointless. I would, at least, like a card to keep "on my person at all times". You know, like Sheldon.

I've never seen enough to sell me on a D23 membership. Other than to say I was a member.

Membership does indeed have it's privileges.
