Only problem I see is in the fine print on the back, it says "Official offer form and origianl cash register receipt must be obtained from the same participating store." I think that might be a problem.

I am thinking that it means you have to buy it all from a certain chain--maybe not one particular store--maybe?

I got mine today at Winn Dixie. I live in the South. The certificate printed out, but as usual I had to ask the cashier to hand it to me. I have had it where something didn't print before and the CS at the store gave me a number to call and the certificate was mailed to me. There was a problem with the cash register printer.

Yeah. Just don't come all "unglued" on him. Sorry you got the brunt of that one. Really, sometimes people just shock the heck out of me with their assumptions about what works and doesn't work in another person's life. I just chalked her post up to another "roll your eyes and move on" life moment.

OKay, I got through to the P&G rebate line--they are USELESS!!!!!!!! She said, well, you just have to see if your store is doing it. I said, yes, I understand that, but do you have a list of stores where they are running the promo? " No, you just have to call around to all of them and see who is doing it" I said, so, there is no centralized list anywhere that will tell you even by state or by store chain where this promo is going on?" She said "no, there is no way to tell you" RIDICULOUS!

Please don't blame - or be angry/upset/critical toward - the person with whom you spoke. She did not create the promotion, she does not get to make the rules about what can and cannot be told to the consumer.

- Marsh
- Market Basket
- Albertson's
- Drug Fair
- County Market
- Winn Dixie

I've never even heard of most of these. Does it really make sense to expect P&G's CSRs to provide a list of all stores, or even all stores in a given area/region? Isn't telling the consumer to check with their/our local supermarkets sufficient? Can't we be expected to do ANY legwork to obtain a deal?

Most likely, the telephone number in this thread is their general customer service number, not one dedicated to this promotion.

The cust service number does have a partial listing of chains. I called and asked and she rattled off about 15-20 chains within 30 seconds. I didn't recognize half of them, and some of the ones that PP's listed were not in the list she had. Seems to be very hit or miss.

I think you might want to list it as Albertson's/Shaw's. Here in the Northeast, the store is Shaw's, but they are part of the Albertson's family. Or maybe Albertson's is part of Shaw's. Either way, they are pretty much the same store.
