Hi, can anyone tell me if you are allowed to do this more than once, my neice age 5 had this pass last year and has now expired, all the rest of of our passes have been extended but we are taking my sons girlfriend with us this time and wondered if we could use the offer again.
I would also like to know if anyone has used this offer when the child surname and address are different from the full payer, and if the full payer has to be an adult it just states full payer on the form and I cant find any terms or conditions.:surfweb:

Thanks for any help :thumbsup2

I don't think the child will be entitled to another free AP. The full payer has to be an adult to get a free child pass. Also if your niece's parents aren't travelling with her they will need to sign a letter to consent to an AP as she is under 18.

As I understand, you must pay an AP in order to get one free for children under 7. And they don't make any kind of difference on children AP / adults AP, even on the price.

I think its definitely worth trying Shelly.
Let us know how you get on :)

Hi, thanks for the replies, just re reading and clicked that my sons GF is not over 18, will I need to take a letter from her parents, and what will it have to say, also how do I prove it's from them.
Problems Problems Problems :confused3

I took my niece with us last year, and took a letter from her mum, just saying she gave permission for her daughter to travel with us.

The letter was never needed, either at the airports or at the resort. But I felt it was best to take it, just in case.

I would take a letter, better to be safe than sorry.

I'm sure earlier this summer Sam's brother couldn't buy an AP because he was under 18 and DLRP needed parental consent in writing, even though Sam was over 18 they wouldn't allow it. So it might be best to be on the safe side and have two letters, one to give consent for her to travel with you and one to give consent for her to buy an AP.

Good memory there Elaine :) - yes, I think thats a really good idea.

We purchased AP's in August for our family and a family friend. She is 14. We needed a letter of authorisation from her parents saying that we could buy her the AP, they also sent copies of their passports to confirm their signitures. The CM was delighted, as he said they normally have to turn people away because they dont bring authortisation.

So please if you are planning on buying an AP for unbody under 18 who isn't a member of your immediate family, remember to take that authorisation, it could really spoil your visit otherwise.

Thanks to all you Dissers for the advise about taking the signed authorisation, if you hadn't posted earlier in the summer we wouldn't have known. :thumbsup2
