We're back... :sad1:
We had a great time even though it rained a lot.
They still had fireworks every night... even in the pouring rain!

We saw the 4th of July fireworks at MK on Saturday the 3rd.
We also saw the Main Street Electric Parade.
I like Spectromagic much better.
I really love the Spectro song... The new song started to get on my nerves after awhile...
The crowds weren't bad on Saturday.
We could have done every ride easily... but the kids got tired.

Sunday we decided to go to Epcot to see the 4th of July fireworks.
It was NOT crowded at all... :confused3 maybe the threat of rain kept people away.
AND we got to see the HS fireworks clearly from WS... :woohoo: no music but they were great.
Illuminations was the same but they added a special extra part at the end.

Monday we saw the New Summer Nightastic Fireworks show at MK.
The Fireworks were impressive. They went all around the park and even in the water in the front of the park.
I must say I did miss the Wishes theme though.
The new show has the Fairy Godmother Talking and it goes through most of the Princess Fairytale stories.
Both of the Electric Parades were canceled on Monday because of the rain.
MK was packed on Monday. the most crowded day we were there.

We actually made it to ALL of our ADRs! :woohoo:
We ate at Boma for Dinner the first night.
We had an early Breakfast at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
We had an early Breakfast at Tusker House on Sunday.
We had Dinner at The Yachtsman Steakhouse on Sunday.
We had Breakfast at Boma on Monday.
We had Dinner at 1900 Park Fair on Monday.
We had Breakfast at Chef Mickey's on Tuesday.

Sounds like a great time!! How was YSH and CM?

Just changed my reservation to include FREE dining!!! Whoo-hoo!!! :cool1:

CONGRATS!!

Sounds like a great time!! How was YSH and CM?

YSH was GREAT like always...but expensive!
3 Beers, 2 Glasses of Wine, and Tip still came to $100 with the Deluxe Dining Plan...

I thought Chef Mickey's was really good for Breakfast.
The food is good and the Characters were GREAT!

Crystal Palace Breakfast was good.
The Characters weren't great. They seemed rushed.

I thought Tusker House was our worst Breakfast this time...:sad2:
Usually one of our favorites. The service was Horrible...
Maybe because it was the 4th... Plates weren't cleared, it took forever to get our drinks...

Both meals at Boma were Great like always... Our Favorite...

1900 Park Fair was... fair... :rotfl2:
Service was good... food was good... Characters were okay...
I think it is a trade off for the first seating...
Food is good, hot and fresh... but the characters maybe get better as the night goes on...
They only had Big Cupcakes for the Birthday Dessert. :sad2:
I wanted a chocolate slipper...:rotfl:

Glad to hear YSH is great,we are eating there our 2nd night. It was DS's pick for dinner. "Don't care where we eat as long as they have steak!" :rotfl: Got to love a 12 year old. We wanted to stay close to the BC our first few nights so we could go into Epcot or HS and then come back and swim in SAB.

I was worried about Chef Mickey since I have read not so good reviews lately, we are doing breakfast so I thought it was a safe bet.

Sad to hear about CP characters, but i have read many people saying the same thing. We are eating there for my bday breakfast and i want pics with all the characters in my bday shirt. :) We are supposed to eat there for dinner before the MNSSHP but now DS wants to try Ohana (see steak comment above:rolleyes1) but i can't get an ADR so I booked Kona since their terakyi steak looks yummy and will keep trying for Ohana.

We aren't trying TH this trip since we have 4 breakfast ADRs already, DH wanted to try Yak and Yeti for early lunch instead. Hopefully picky DD9, can find something to eat on their menu. :headache:

My mom said the same thing about 1900 PF, that is was fair but for the opposite reasons. She said the characters were good, the food was ok but they did have the 6:30pm seating. You have to order the chocolate slipper, i ordered it for my DD since she had it 2 years earlier for our ADR in the castle and really liked it. The CM thought it was her bday and also gave her a light up birthday crown. I keep threatening to wear it all day for my bday in Sept. My DS would die of embarassment. :scared1:

We aren't making the trek over to AKL this time so no Boma for us. We are trying to eat mostly in the BC/YC/BW and Epcot areas since we are staying at BC.

Kids still don't know that we are staying at BC (they think POP especially since i run this swap :rotfl::rotfl:) or that we added another night. :woohoo: I dropped several hints like lead balloons over the weekend but they didn't pick up on it.

Sent a PM
Had to change our dates, no longer need the frig from 10/9-10/18

What time was your tusker house breakfast?

We booked for a 10:30am. (actually booked all my reservations either later or early--not taking the first ones)

and we did order the choc slipper for 1900 park fair- its PopPops birthday but the trip is for Jada. (she is 4) so they will share.

Tusker House was at 8:30am. We stayed at AKL so it didn't take long to get there.
I didn't know you had to order the slipper... :sad2:

The hard drive on our main PC died this week and DH is working on fixing it and guess where the fridge swap list is saved. :scared1::scared1: He tells me it will be fixed tomorrow so if anyone asked to be on the wait list for the now open October dates, please let me know. thanks

I dont think it comes with that for 1900 park faire

Luckily we have 3 extras since he is an "IT" guy. I think all is fixed since he was up all hours of the night last night. Let's hope.

I forgot, i ordered DD the little cake with the white chocolate castle on top for her bday at 1900 PF not the slipper. When you order tell them exactly what you want and they are usually very helpful.
