Free AOL?

you can still get to the message boards that you could only access on aol?? that is the only reason I ever kept aol.

I also just switched online...my billing date is tomorrow so not sure if I cut it too close to the wire or it will kick in before they bill...my luck it won't......

When I switched to the free plan, it said it could take up to 48 hours to change.

it actually showed up on my billing within an hr. that I know was free, I'm just not sure with today being my actual billing date if they will stick me with paying....I will check on it, as technically I switched before my billing date.

Just went into my billing acct. on AOL to look, it says 8/5/06 $0.00....so guess it is all good

I used to call every month and tell them I was gonna have to cancel because it cost too much, they would give me a month or three free.... after about eight or nine months they switched me to the 14.95 plan and I've been paying that for a while... now it's down to 9.99!!! yippee, I only get dial up although I was thinking of going to broadband.
