Free annual passes???

I read on a recent thread that when you plan a custom, you get annual passes....anyone else ever heard this??? I don't recall who posted it - and I'm not doubting you (you guys haven't steered me wrong yet!!!) But how can this be?!?!?! And how did I not learn of this sooner? Please let me know if anyone else knows this to be accurate b/c I've been planning on purchasing one prior to the wedding..... (please, please, PLEASE let it be so!!!!)

You should get them from your wedding consultant shortly after you sign the contract. It is a thankyou gift for having your wedding at Disney.

I don't want you to think I was accusing you of lying - it just sounds too good to be true, and I'd never heard that before!!! Can you redeem the voucher whenever you want, or does it have to be during your wedding trip??
BTW, I really enjoyed reading your trip report - I found it very helpful, especially b/c I have an initial consultation Tuesday (YAY!) I'm sure it's going to be mostly questions and answers as I haven't set a date with them or discussed much over the phone. I am just so excited to start the planning process (finally - I feel like I've been engaged forever!)
Anyway, thanks again - and best of luck!!!!!! I'm sure I'll "see" you around!

You can redeem your voucher whenever you want, however, it's only good for 1 year from the activation date, not your wedding date (obviously.) When we went for our planning session in January we activated our passes and everyone acted like we were crazy because our wedding wasn't until July and we would be 'wasting' months. We live in SC, though, and we're going to try to take a long weekend once or twice if cheap rates come out so we can use our passes more.

I'm glad you enjoyed my trip report. They're fun to write!

Thanks! I've already started a pretty rough-looking list of questions!!! (I haven't had a day off in about 8 days, and I just keep jotting things down!!!) I'm going to reward myself for my hard work with a cute, new, DISNEY notebook when I arrive in WDW!!! I figure I can re-write all of my questions in it (so they're fresh in my mind!) and keep it for notes for the next few months (I'm hoping for a Nov. 5th wedding).
I'm very excited!!!!!
To think, pretty soon, I'LL have a trip report!!! Now if only I can figure out how to get photos on here.......
