Wow - I just signed my contract for Nov 11 2006.
and we are leaving tomorrow morning for our planning session :woohoo: - I get a certified letter in the mail - can you believe there are free annual passes in it?? I didnt know they would do that - how friggen sweet! Just in time too. Ahh Disney ... :cloud9:

I am a custom in Oct and I didn't get APs. My save the dates and contract was signed and returned a long time ago. Does every custom bride get APs or just some?

I would call your sales manager Tigeroo. It is my understanding that all custom brides got them. But with an executed contract and deposit.

I know it's not a part of the contract and they're not required to send them, but that is still strange that you didn't get any!!! I hope you'll get them eventually, that doesn't seem right! Goodluck and let us know if you do receive them :)

Thats awesome! Nov 10!! woohoo! We are having out rehersal dinner at Italy isola, where is your reception???

Tigeroo, as Jonette said, I would definately call your SM. We signed our contract a couple of months ago and we just got our AP's a couple of weeks ago. But our wedding is in January! :)

Thanks for letting me know that some of you did get AP's. I signed my contract and sent the deposit the first of Dec. I have already gone to our planning session. Maybe the holiday season threw things off and they forgot or maybe I will be one of the few who doesn't get them. I am not sure if I want to ask SM about it. It is a nice gift but it is not something you can really demand them to do. Maybe they have a reason for not giving them to us... it sure isn't because of the amount of money we will be giving them for our wedding. Right now our estimated budget is over $50,000!!!! We need to do some major trimming because that is more then I want to spend. The AP's would be really nice and one less cost on the other wedding expensives that aren't included in that $50,000. All that other stuff sure adds up fast too.
Again thanks for all your help. :)

I wonder if i will get any, they have had my deposit and signed contract but i leave for a planning visit in 3 weeks??

Do these AP's have a date on them? or are they valid 1 year from when you first use them?

we received our free annual passes before our planning session last year & they have been great to have between the planning trip & our wedding week, it was a great gift. i was a custom bride.

the annual pass is valid for 1 year from the day you activate the ap exchange certificate.

Just remember everyone that these are not "mandatory gifts" from Disney. they are nice yes and most customs get them. but they can stop them at any point and there is no policey of them.. Just remember that

What about if we have AP's already and they send them to us?

They are not "activated" until you want them to be - so I'd imagine you can use them for next year :)
