Free and Fun Activities in DLR/DCA/DowntownDisney?

Hey DIS'ers,

We are coming back to DLR in December and I know that there are some WDW free activities to do (Pirate treasure hunt etc)...and I was wondering if there is anything fun and free like that at DLR?

We do the penny press every time already...and I know about the silhouette studio (next to free).

I always find out about the best fun things from this board so I am hoping for some pearls of wisdom (or pixie dust of wisdom!)

We are driving down from Vancouver Island, staying at Hojo by DLR for 1 week and 2 days of that will be at Universal Harry Potter land.

Try reposting this in the trip planning forum (Disneyland California). You should get lots of good suggestions there.
