Free Additional Driver at Alamo?

Several people have mentioned that they were able to have their spouse as an additional driver for free at Alamo. When I checked with Alamo, they said their was an additional charge for any additional drivers, including spouses. Is there a particular program or code that you use to get the free additional driver?

Using the Entertainment Book code and coupon gives 1 additional driver. I discovered this by accident when trying to find a good rate. HTH!

The last couple of times I booked Alamo on line and used my Costco code (they've never asked for a card by the way) the confirmation always indicates one additional driver included.
Try making your reservation on-line and see what pops up!

I also got a free additional driver using the Disney Visa deal a few months back. Going straight to Alamo's site, they will charge you extra for a second driver, so you need to get a deal. Some other car companies do not charge you for the extra driver tho.
