And, I did get a small nap, just finished a margarita and am settling in for a night of tv....Earl, Grey's and LOST!!!!!! WooHoooooo!!!!! Thursday is the only night I am an actual couch potato. See ya' tomorrow!

Tink, did you get a chance to celebrate his birthday last weekend?

He had a great week. It was school vacation week so ds decided that it would be his birth week Lots of wii games, biography of Thomas Edision (another famous person who had Asperbers) and Guitar Hero - so he was a pretty happy camper...

TB, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Violet. I hope it was comforting to you to be with her. I know it was for me when I lost my darling Stella. It's very hard, I hope your kids are ok.

Thanks HRH - I remember when you have to put Stella down. It was so sad.

Gosh we certainly have been through a lot together here - haven't we? Thanks to everyone for being soooo supportive and for all of the well wishes, please know how much it is appreciated and how much it means to me.

It was really weird waking up without her today, and poor Flint just keeps walking around looking for here

TinkerBean-I hope your kids are not taking this too hard. My kids aren't really old enough to understand death but they still say all the time "I miss Ellie." She died back in the fall and we still haven't got a new dog. Hopefully this summer though.

I could have sworn I posted something last night about wishing all a Happy Birthday who was celebrating one & a hug for everyone else who need them and even for those that don't think they do! You have all become a part of my life I would be lost without

Thanks HRH is was very good to be there with her. I held her with my face scmuched into her neck as they gave her the shot. It was quick and painless and then she was a peace, no more pain, no more trouble breathing, no more being confused as to what was happening to her. She was with me and she was going to sleep...(ok that got the water works going again). THe kids are sad. Ds wants to make a youtube video of her (I'll let you know when it's up)

That's exactly the way it was with Stella, just peace. I would encourage anyone to do this if they had to euthanize a pet. I had to take my 13 year old lab in last year, and I left him there, I thought I couldn't do it. Now I really wish I had been with him.

After Stella was "gone", I was crying quietly, looked over at my Vet, and he had removed his glasses to wipe tears away. I was very touched.

Let me know when the video tribute is up, so I can grab my box of Kleenex..take care now

How is everyone today? I am okay. I went into work today and then decided I needed to leave.I called the DR and had them see me early. They gave me my treatment and said I needed to sleep. So who am I to say no. I came home and slept for 3 hours and feel better.
John wanted me to stay home today but I wanted to make sure all my reports from last month updated since I could not access anything from home. The server at work is been a little crazy this week.

I'm glad you took it upon yourself to send yourself home! I also understand the need to make sure something is done before allowing yourself to relax. I but you wouldn't have gotten that much sleep if you didn't see for yourself everything was okay at work.
I'm also glad your powernaps help.

I don't know that I could eat those cakes. ALL that hard work you had to put into them. I would cry while eating them. They look amazing.

Very nice cakes. It makes me feel badly. My DD's birthday is Sunday, she will be 15! I am going to make the cake tomorrow, and trust me, it will look nothing like yours.

We will have DD's party later in the summer, when it is warmer and the kids can swim.
