Believe me dear, you are not missing anything!:lmao:

Let me eleborate- I am SO NOT a fan of musicals- I told all of my wench sisters that I wanted to poke my eye out whenever someone would starting singing, which was, all the time! And I left the theater with only one eye. The little theater clean-up boys swept up my eye with all of the popcorn remnants!:rotfl2:

I have to admit- JD did an incredible job singing! The blood was no big deal to me- but there was a lot in case anyone is grossed out by blood- but it was bright red- not your usually dark, gross real life color- "Tim Burton red"

I would have NEVER survived this movie if I did not have JD to stare at the whole time, I wonder how DH did it???:confused3 Poor guy......he was clueless before the movie as to what awaited him!:lmao:

I'm baaaaaack.....

Hey HRH, we missed you this thread was soooo quiet...

Thank you....And the absolute best thing I read while catching up are the words, "NO CANCER".. I am so happy for your family...

Now another thing that isn't so bad about losing part of his thyroid is that synthroid is one of the cheapest meds out there...the most common med, too. So it won't cost you an arm and a leg to maintain. How are his spirits-has he had any pain? Hope all of you had a wonderful, joyous holiday..you have a lot to be thankful for!!

We had a great time..the crowds satred moving in on us around Saturday..not REALLY bad, then Sunday we went to BB, then home yesterday.

The day we got there (Tuesday) a boy had died on EE, did you guys hear about it? I was hoping y'all didn't think it was one of mine...Did you hear what really happened to him? We went on it 4 days later and it was closed in the morning, but every time we go it's closed first thing...just wondered if they found out what happened.

So glad to be back. We actually hit our Disney saturation point, I think...

I haven't seen anything about an incident on rides....if any one has any info, please share.

We saw it on the news the night we arrived. It happened that day (Tuesday)..he appeared to be fine in the photo that was taken on the ride(they take it about 50 seconds before it stops), then when the ride stopped he was slumped over. I heard two things, one that he couldn't be revived there, the other was that he died at the hospital. I don't know how long they shut EE down to investigate, but it must have been obvious that it was a medical condition. I don't know if they found anything out about it yet or not. Very, very sad...and of course they thoughts crossed my mind with every "strenuous" ride we went on...

Heart Condition Led to Disney Death

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A pre-existing heart condition caused the death of a man who was stricken while riding a Walt Disney World roller coaster, the Orange County medical examiner's office said Wednesday.

Jeffery Reeb, 44, of Navarre, was unresponsive when removed from the Expedition Everest ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom on Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead at Celebration Hospital.

Everest debuted in 2006, simulating a runaway train ride through the Himalayas.

Following Reeb's death, the ride was reopened Tuesday afternoon after an inspection found it was operating properly.

Prior to Reeb's death, at least 15 people had died at Disney's theme parks in Florida and California since 1989, some with previous health conditions.

I read about that the day after it happened!

It freaked me out b/c I thought, OMG- he was only a year older than me! I felt so bad! He was so young!

Merry Christmas my fellow Freaps, Meaps, and Cheaps!!! I hope everyone had a pleasant day...celebrating or not.

HRH glad to see you back safe and sound! :flower3:

Thanks for the news report..I swear the Orlando 11:00 news said it was a boy! It's very strange about them getting the photo where he was fine and seemed to be enjoying himself, then one minute later he's dead. What a terrible memory for his family.

Welcome back HRH!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see some pics and hear more about your trip!

thanks all of you!! It was one of those, "Wow, this is a great time", and then 10 minutes later, "God, I wish I could go home NOW!!" kind of trips. DS's fought quite a bit while standing in line, they don't do very well with boredom..next time I'm bringing the Gameboys along. Then I had TWO times (it must be me...) where I wanted to deck some park guests.... Once where a woman on a scooter right after Wishes decided to just shoot across VERY crowded foot traffic and almost ran into DS7. When I said, "HEY!" she yells, "What, you didn't know I was going to go there?!" If I would have been in a little more control of my wits, I would have walked over to her and pushed her off her scooter..I don't care if you are handicapped or not, you're not gonna mess with my kid...Then at BB, they have these floating icebergs across the pool with a rope ladder overhead to hang onto. The kids try to cross the pool on the icebergs without falling in. There were two really wild boys pushing and shoving each other on the ice bergs, and not moving along like they are supposed to. DS9 really wanted to get to get across, so we waited and waited, and they wouldn't move along for either of the lifeguards that were telling them to get out. Then they started jumping on the other kids' icebergs making them fall in..which of course they did to my DS9. So when they all came out to get in line again, I let them have it, telling them they would not do that again..they said, "Yes we will".:scared1: So at least I got them apart because the smaller one tried to cut back in line next to his brother and I told the lifeguard to send him back. I have never had kids be that rude to me in my life to my face..Never wanted to strangle a child so badly.

The lifeguards did NOTHING to stop it, except say,"Hey, buddy, don't do that"..(All the lifeguards use the "hey buddy" call!) I was mad at the kids, and mad at the lifeguards.

But other than that, it was delightful....:rotfl:

I thought of you madd, saw your namesake, but the line was too long to meet him.

This is not me, I found the pic in photobucket.) And of course, every time I saw anything to do with pirates, you were on my mind.....

You are crazy! I was thinking, hey! It's HRH- and then I read- that's not me:lmao: Thanks for thinking of me on your vacation!:thumbsup2

I can believe the kids are that rude. Not having any- those types of children usually are what I zero in on when I say to DH "Thank GOODNESS we do not have kids!":rotfl2:
