Well, I have had a bargain shopping day.

I got 2 juices free with the coupons.

B&BW is having their Halloween soap dispensers and Temptations products on sale for 1/2 off; PLUS the free stuff I got with coupons + purchase (3 free total).

I found a Pittsburg paint store and got a free gallon of their $35 paint with the coupon I got in the mail a few weeks ago.

I got a coupon and a catalog in the mail from Yankee Candle that would allow me to buy 2 - 22 oz candles and get one free. Bed, Bath & Beyond refused the coupon flat but Hallmark gave me buy one, get one 1/2 off since they said they couldn't accept the coupon either...and the Hallmark manager was much nicer about it! (I've emailed Yankee Candle about the difficulty with using their coupons in town).

At Walmart, I found they have a special package of Crest Pro-Health that consists of a 7.8 oz night toothpaste PLUS a free 8.4 oz night mouthwash for the same price of just the toothpaste alone (I wished I had gotten the $1 off coupon from Crest in the mail by now...but, still a freebie purchase).

I got an email today, from National Car Rental Emerald Club, with a code for a free day of GPS in a rental vehicle. Did anyone else get this email with the code? I am wondering if the code is a general code or if they are different codes for each person that received the email.

Yay, Halloween is OVER!!! We had a great time, hope everyone got lots of candy and goodies..We only had about 45 kids at our house..we live kinda tucked away off the beaten path. I have lots of goodie bags left, maybe DH can take them into his college students tomorrow..

So glad I don't have to worry about KMart free candy anymore, although they had a 50% off any toy coupon for next Saturday, so I guess I will be back...

Who's heading out tomorrow to get the 1/2 price candy their kids didn't bring home? I will be looking for Heath Bars and Pay Days..no one seems to give those out. And a couple of bags to give the teachers..they give lots of candy rewards. AND we all know to stay away from the Spirit Halloween store tomorrow, don't we?? If you do go, watch out for a crazy pirate girl with a crazed 1/2 price look in her eye clutching these things....

I totally bought two bags of the mix that had paydays, heath bars, whoppers and milk duds. We LOVE those and you hardly ever find fun size packages of those that can go into lunches. We've pretty much demolished the bags and I'm debating going out tomorrow morning to find more.

We just sat at home tonight. We have lived here for 8 years and never had any trick or treaters...we live pretty far out. It is usually cold Halloween night so I think everyone just takes their kids into town and they trick or treat indoors in public places.

I only have one hs kid left at home and he wasn't interested in going anywhere tonight...he went to a party with a friend last night. DH plopped in front of the tv and I sat on Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom and met up with my online DIS friends part of the evening.

I have a DDS appointment at 7:00am tomorrow...after which I will hit the stores for discount candy. Yep, I know how that sounds...

I hope you guys all get your kidlings off to school ok tomorrow so you can get that bargain hunting done in a timely manner.

I had to go into work last night but did manage to get the kids dressed and went to a couple of houses with them before leaving trick or treating in dad's hands. We never ever have trick or treaters here so I always get to keep all the candy for myself(insert evil laugh here). The kids go to my in-laws neighborhood and walk around with all their cousins. From the amount of loot they showed me this morning, it was a successful night.

I went to Wal-nuts on my lunch break last night and used 2 of the JJ coupons and 1 PP. They always give me a hassle but no more so than usual. I joked that they were going to start calling me the "Crazy Coupon Lady" that comes in the middle of the night just to mess with them. I will probably try the JJ coupons again, so if you don't hear from me, I'll be in the pokey with the other felons.

Hey, as I always tell DH (I guess we talk about me going to jail frequently)...why would I object to being in jail! I'd get a warm bed, 3 squares, and I don't have to clean up after anyone! Good luck on your mission!

I dont know-- I hear those juicy juice customers can get pretty scary! You better hope you get bunked with a murderer or something-- i hear the juicy juice customers try and sneak in the plastic paper and straws from the juice boxes... and throw spit wads at you with them while you sleep. Pretty scary stuff . May the juice be with you...

First of all- not to dissapoint anyone- but I did not get my creepy guy! I did get one for my friend who could not get out of work early though. I wanted to spend 60 bucks and get a few things instead of just one. anyway......

Hee hee! I was at Spirit @ 9:30 AM today, they opened at 10. There about 10 of us in line. I had my "old lady grocery cart" with me and ready to stuff it! I swear I have one- got it at a yard sale a few weeks back for 7 bucks! Pulled that baby outta my trunk and walked up in line- people were J-E-A-L-O-U-S! I have arrived! Peeped in the window to see where my items were located.

Doors opened and people ran confused3 hello- there were only 10 of us in line- where ya runnin' to?) I walked in- grabbed the creepy guy that hrh posted above and this creepy clown for my friend-

brought them up to the counter for them to hold for me and then it was MY turn.

I got about 10 headstones. (2) 5ft hanging skeletons. A strobe light. I DID get the hovering demon that hrh posted above for myself.

5 (2) pks for skeleton fencing.

(2) 2 pc spiderweb fencing.

(1) hanging clown.

(1) flying flying reaper. (this thing is loooonnnng)

Jeez- it feels like I bought more! I did go to Target afterwards and picked up a 3.5 ft skeleton lamp post

and a spider web door mat. I went to another Target yesterday and they had some really cool "cement/stone" looking headstones and gargoyles- but this stupid Target I went to today had none! I was already to purchase them!

Maybe I will go later on tonight.

I will post pics of my "very boring" decorated yard that hrh wanted to see in a little bit.

When you open up the Freap Chat thread (or any other thread for that matter) you can click on the top of the thread - left side - where there is a little button that says "view 1st unread" - it will jump you to the last post you saw. I've been on the DIS for almost 3 years now and just found that out a couple months ago thanks to another Diser. Hope this helps.

And Madd, you can also just click the little blue check mark thingy on the thread you want on the the Budget board main page and that will take you to the last post read as well.

Everytime I do this, I just get taken to the very last post...
