BTW anyone know of any good space items as freebies ? We are redoing my sons room and he wants plants and such all over the place . thanks for any help .

Remember that one? Well I actually got a really nice letter and brochure on the history of the vodka and how to do a tasting. However, the letter said that unfortunately is it prohibited by law for them to give me my vodka sample in my state. What I found ironic is that the return address on the letter was from my same state!

Side point - Saw Donny Brasco last night. Madd - couldn't help but think of you!

PS- that Vodka is pretty tasty! I mentioned on the thread before that I picked up a little bottle of it while checking out at the liquor store- The bottle was just so pritty, oo- it has a purple gem in it- I want it!!

I do not make a habit of drinking straight vodka- but I had to open the bottle in the car and taste it- it was not too bad. I do not think it would be a vodka that you would want to mix something in- I think a vodka drinker would want to taste the flavor of the vodka not mask it with OJ or something. Buy the cheap stuff for that

Received the foil packets of Dove shampoo and conditioner today from Wal-Mart. I opened the envelope very carefully-- the last foil packets I received were smashed open. This sample was NOT damaged so into the freebie box it goes.
I'm needing a bigger box.

Today was a great freebie day. I received the Senseo coffee machine (I know, not exactly free, but a great deal), 3 pr Aero children's socks, The Idiot's Guide to Healthcare Benefits, and the Diet & Nutrition Magazine. Saturday I got the Sierra car air freshener.

Yesterday I got a nice freebie - from Johnson & Johnson information center. I got a few foil packets ~ Soothing Naturals lotion, Shower to Shower Shimmer Effects and Monistat gel. I got a little bottle of Aveeno Baby and a packet of Kool Aid Invisible. I also got 4 of their personal freshness cleansing cloths and $1.00 off coupons for these products as well.

I also got a copy of Parents for Parents magazine.

This was a good mail day since my freebies have dried up lately. Maybe today I will get my socks!

So, I am hoping my skewers come today... I asked DH to pick some up on his way home from work for grilling tonight, but you know, FREE is sooo much better!!

I still haven't heard back on the toothbrushes-- although they sent me a confirmation email saying they will respond "within a few business days" DON'T THEY KNOW WE WANT OUR FREE TOOTHBRUSHES!!! geesh!

Mad-- I want some stripper tampons!! haha! They are like dove chocolates (with the sayings...) Reading something hilarious would certainly cheer me up during...you know... Aunt Flows visit.

Anyone else have a problem saving freebies? Everytime I get one it gets used/eaten the day it gets here. my DH ate my Atkins bar, so I have no idea if it was good, I ate the soyjoy for lunch the day it got here (I was starving and there was food in my mailbox), the coloring books I get the kids vanish into their den of art stuff within seconds of coming into the house. I have managed to save one tampon sample, and they still have a cartoon dvd. but most things are gone POOF the moment they arive.

Just Kidding. It's an alert day up here in the metro so every tv break is driving me crazy with PSA's and offers to ride the metrobuses free. I'm home sick eating really bad for you food cause that's what you do when you're sick. I want crummy daytime tv not global warming gloom.

Oh no!!! haha! Maybe it would help if I watched something other than CNN!! The local news drives me nuts! I'm sorry you are sick Make a trip over to blockbuster and get one of those "feel good" movies!

So.... I called about the toothbrushes, and according to "Mike" the guy I talked to, the online form you fill out is sufficient to get the toothbrushes (you know the one you fill out before you get the printable form). So, we will see if I get the same response in the email they send me! So, for now, phew!

And... no skewers, just socks today

Oh- yesterday I did get my Marlboro Zippo!! whoo hoo!
