FREAP CHAT ~ Everyone Welcome!

Especially since I bumped my DH, then Dboyfriend, on his bike at a traffic light with my car. It still gets brought up at holiday gatherings. Bike and man were ok, just a banged up side case.

Ok, enough babble. Just don't dis (get it DIS!!! :rotfl2: yep, I have the sense of humor of a third grader) the BMW.

:sad1: sniff....what a beautiful love story....:rotfl: :rotfl: Seriously, glad you didn't hit him hard enough to scare him off!! , But ya wrecked the side case???? And he still married you?? Man, he must have really been in love:love: ..

I have been receiving so many freebies, I just don't have the energy to list them all. I did get two sleeping bags from Marlboro, those are the biggies, but I am tickled to death that my SKYYE Vodka poster came today. I don't know which one it is, I only clicked on one style. I am giving it to DH for Christmas, he will love it. He loves gorgeous women with big.........eyes....;) (What's he doin' with me???), and great advertising. He now teaches it, was in corporate advertising for 24 years. And we don't spend money on each other at Christmas because of our Disney trip. But we want the kids to know that it's not all about them, so we get freebies for each other, or find stuff that we need and give it to the other to wrap up...LOL..I know y'all think we're nuts..we have everything we need..except, of course, a gorgeous woman on a vodka poster.

We received our first copy of "Hobby Farms" magazine. DH has been enjoying the free subscriptions the most out of all the freebies we get. Thanks for the freebies, guys! :goodvibes

Another WDW "freebie" - although not to be expected!

DH & I celebrated our honeymoon in WDW pre-Disboards so I really had no idea about all the planning we could/should do so when we brought our children for the 1st time in 05, a customer of mine pointed me towards this place. Here I learned to make ADR's, freebie's in each of the parks, etc. I had noted on our reservations - both hotel & all meal reservations that it was our anniversary. Several tables were decorated with mickey confetti (which I promptly scooped up a bunch and used in scrapbooks) and 1 night we were presented with a pair of complimentary Champagne flutes at the castle and a certificate. It didn't happen on our actual anniversary (we didn't get anything that day and I was hoping we would) but actually on our last night in WDW before returning home - we had just finished dinner and were waiting for dessert when the fireworks started outside and the music was piped in and here comes the waitress with the glasses  . It truly topped off our magical trip! So if it is a special occasion be sure to have them note it on your resservations as well - not to be expected but you never know.

Or just really afraid of the damage that could be done to him :rotfl: I believe a healthy dose of fear helps a marriage!!!!:lmao:

I have learned to not even look at traffic to see if I can make a right hand turn on red until I am ABSOLUTELY sure there is no one in front of me.

This may have been asked (sorry if it has been already!) but has anyone gotten their Cartoon Network 3-D package yet? The party is supposed to be Saturday and I don't want to pass out invites until I have the package in hand. I was accepted, did the whole signup, etc, but have received nothing.

This is the first party I'm doing, and I'm wondering how close to the party date you actually receive the party supplies!

I got an email that said they had been shipped, but not quite on time, but that everyone should have it by Wednesday.

Thank you! I just always wondered! I never could figure out why they wrote that, figured it was a waste, but just didn't know what they were doing! Now that I've exposed myself! Oh well! I'd rather be educated!

I've never "subscribed" myself, but I must have done something because I get emails whenever a new message is posted on a thread that I posted to.

Plus, I'm always on here I just try to read the whole darn thing!:lmao:

Jennifer - Glad to see you back and I'm so sorry for your loss:grouphug: Hopefully us FREAPS can cheer you up a little:wizard:

Maggie - Yikes! That jacket is kinda thin and flimsy - thanks for the warning. Glad to hear customer service is doing something about it!:thumbsup2

HRH_DQ - I found that same Penthouse freebie!:lmao: I didn't want to post it either although I'm sure our male freaps would have appreciated it.

WARNING!! Do NOT wash your Chadwicks Jacket!! I got the free Jacket in the mail on Saturday. I have this thing about wearing clothes before they are washed, etc. I read the cleaning label and it said
machine wash warm
gentle cycle
wash dark colors seperately
do not bleach
tumble dry low
low iron

So i put it in the washing machine, gentle cycle... and this is how it came out.

I didn't even get the opportunity to wear it once!

Im not that happy because i paid for an ugly shirt just to get it-- and i dont like the shirt (you cant expect much for 1.99-- but it was $7 with shipping )-- and then my jacket falls apart:scared1:

ETA: It never did see the dryer-- there was no need at that point.

After reading your post, I went ahead and washed and dried my jacket. It was fine. I'm guessing yours was defective. I hope that when they replace it, you get something even better :goodvibes Keep us posted.

Hey all,

Has anyone else recently sent in a Bzz report? I sent two in (one for TV Guide and one for the Fly Fusion) and haven't heard a thing about them yet. I sent them in on Thursday! I usually get a response from "BzzAgent Jono" within a day or two. :confused3 Have they been slow for you guys?

Also, I asked them a question about the quality score. To make a long story short, I would submit a report and the email reply would say I would get 5 quality points or whatever - then when I went to check my score it would only be up 1 or 2 points. Now I'm even getting fractions of points.

Anyway, I emailed them and asked if I was misunderstanding how the quality score is calculated, since I obviously didn't have the amount of points they said I would have, and this is how they responded:

"Your quality score, unlike BzzPoints, is not cumulative. It is the average of the total amount of quality credits you've earned within the last 365 days divided by the amount of campaigns you've participated in within that time frame."

Huh? Did you know it was an average?? I didn't :sad2: I guess that's why it's taking me FOREVER to reach tier 2.

Did anyone host this? I was dying to get in on this but didn't. Anyway -did they offer any kind of discount code or buying the game? We are HUGE cranium junkies and this is on our list for Christmas. Thanks!!!

I'm a buzzz newbie but I read somewhere that while you have an outstanding campaign, points are deducted from your account until you complete the campaign, then you get the points back plus the ones you earned on the campaign... weird, guess it's incentive to "follow through" :confused3

Did anyone over here do the RascallFlatts thing? I signed up but am not getting an email for the cd...does it just take awhile? I went back to the sight and logged in and got to the free cd page, but did not have a code number because I didn't get the email....just curious about everyone else's experience with this one....and I'm very impatient! :rotfl2:

I got mine today.... it wasn't as impressive as some of the others but the kids will still enjoy them!

Movie, 3 things of temp hair color, temp. tattoos, cups, plates, napkins, a certificate, a bunch of 3-D glasses.

After you registered you should have received a 'confirmation' email that you have to respond to, after you do that login and it takes you to the CD page. The code is to the right of the box, if that makes sense. That's how it worked for me anyway. HTH

Hopefully I will be getting mine today - but you're right - not too impressive. Thought there would be more 'goodies' for the kids. Oh well- better hit up the dollar store for some other little things to add.
