So i thought I was going to be with the millions of others booking ADR's on the 27th. But I thought about it and if we are booking on Jan 31, and I do the 90 days plus ten b/c we are on property, I think that makes my ADR day , I think that gets me to the 23rd of Oct.

i haven't even booked the trip yet, due to lack of time to call in, but I will get the ressy done this weekend. And since I have barely even gotten park days figured out, I haven't even thought about ADRs.

So my questions:

Which princess meal? 1900 Park Fare or Akershus?

We're going to have a date night at Epcot and DH is Celiac...any suggestions?

I am planning to do a lot of counter service (for price and flexibility) but I think that we will have a lack of things to do at DHS b/c of ages and interest so I was thinking about table service that day. I thought 50's was fun....go back or try another?

Thanks ahead for the help guys...gotta love the DIS'ers!:yay:

If you are arriving on January 31, 2010---your 90 day park would be November 2, 2009. Since that is after the October 27th conversion, that means you will be calling in on October 27th like everyone else. 90+10 means you can make your ressies at your 90 day mark for up to 10 days of vacation, not 100 days before your arrival.

Hope that helps and here is the link to the "Priority Seating" calculator I used.

The only princess at 1900 PF is Cinderella. It really is a fun meal, but it's not a true princess meal. The food is good, we really enjoyed our dinner.

Alkershus is all princesses all the time, the food at breakfast is best.

I'm not sure what restaurant is the best at Gluten free. A gluten free meal can be had at all, with a phone call ahead of time. The chef will make something special.

You will be calling on Oct 27 with everyone else.

Glad you guys cleared that up for me!

I'm on the fence about the character meal issue. Seeing all the princesses together would be nice ( I know they arent all there), but the 1900 Park Fare seems more magical. Ugh. :)

My sister in law is celiac, and she says Disney does a great job with food for her, all you have to do is call ahead and speak with someone in the dining department and it will be noted, then the chef can come out and speak with you at each restaurant and work through your meals with you.

I wasn't real impressed with 1900 Park Fare. It was DD's 3rd birthday when we went there. Our server was awesome though. He timed Cinderella's visit for when he brought out DD's cake and Cinderella was there to sing her Happy Birthday.

I though the food was just OK, as well as the atmosphere.

I know its overpriced and the food isn't that good, but DD (6) thinks that CRT is the ultimate princess meal. There's just something about eating in the castle.
