Frankenmuth, Michigan?

We are frequent visitors to Frankenmuth. We have stayed at both Zehnder's Splash Park and the Bavarian Inn. Both are nice. If you are all about water parks, then Zehnder's is for you. Lots of slides, etc.

Bavarian Inn is our favorite. They have 5 pools, indoor golf course, HUGE arcade and it's close to everything. We like to be able to walk out of our room, down the drive under the covered bridge to all of the shops, dining, etc. Zehnder's is a little removed so you need to drive to the actual shops, etc.

I was just there over Labor Day! We stayed at the Bavarian Inn (but it was on someone else's dime... I did the photos for my cousin's wedding - they compensated me by paying for our room).

You HAVE to eat at Tiffany's. If you drive, enter the parking lot behind Zehnders (at the light - if you turn one way you head towards Bavarian Inn, if you go the other way you head towards Zehnders). Follow the drive all the way around the back of Zehnders and keep going, almost to the end of the big parking lot. There is a little green building in between a couple of shops called Tiffany's. The food is amazing and it is reasonable.

Also, there is always something to at the Fischer Platz (same intersection) and I believe it's free.

Have fun when you go! DS4 keeps asking when we are going to return to Frankensteinmuth.

ETA: also, check on the Bavarian Inn's website... you can put in your email address and they'll email you coupons that are good for the entire town.

Frankenmuth has a very active Chamber of Commerce/Visitors Bureau - give them a call. They have coupons and lots of information to assist with your planning and visit.

Oh yes - lots of food at Tony's. I haven't been there in many years, but it used to be that if you ordered a BLT sandwich, it came with a pound of bacon

They still do just ate there 2 weekends ago. The day of MSU/Uofm game
