France Wins The Six Nations???

I never would have believed that would happen this year!

I thought it would be England, with a strong showing by Wales then France, Ireland, Scotland and Italy.

The Irish were amazing, as were the Scots.

So much for what I know about European Rugby, eh?

England were very disappointing We lacked defensive stregnth and attacking flair. They really need to get there house in order by the time the world cup come around next year!

France were France - Brilliant one minute and seemingly not interested the next, although they won the important games.

I thought Wales were a bit disappointing as well after last years excellent play, although there seems to have been some things going on behind the scenes with the Welsh set-up that might have found it's way through to some on the pitch performances.

The biggest bouns I saw from this year was a resurgent Scotland and a much improved Italy. Gone are the days when you looked at one of the original 5 having a game against Italy and thought about a cricket score being posted

I think it's good that the competition is close at the moment as it makes each game much more interesting to watch - although obviously I would like to see England winning
