In the past I know the France pavilion has opened before the rest of Epcot to allow guests to eat breakfast. Anyone know if that still occurs?

Ah! So what time is World Showcase opening these days? Thanks!
Its all open to walk through at 9 (Epcot opens at 10 starting next week), but nothing really opens til 11, same as before. Except the usuals, like Les Halles, FEA, and Remy BGs

For now, looks like it opens with the rest of the park. All attractions in the World Showcase show 9 am for opening today which is when Epcot opened. F&W food booths are listed as opening at 11 am.
My experience yesterday was the same as its always been. FEA was open at 9, Remy BGs started at 9 (thats obviously new), and the bakery in France was open. Nothing else was open. Gran Fiesta nor the shows open at Epcot open.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

In the past, the IG was open and you could go to France to eat, but it was blocked off after that (you couldn't walk that direction to FEA) If you wanted to go to FEA, you had to walk past Canada, Mexico etc.
Is that still the same way?

So I didn't try, but when I got off of FEA, there were people walking from China, so maybe?
ETA: but think it is still faster to go left through UK/Canada to get to Norway

They are currently opening all the world showcase pathways when the park opens. Also the Beauty and Beast sing along in France is open for resort guests half an hour before opening.

Does this mean that for my trip next week I can walk to Les Halles and get a pastry at 9am even though park opening isn't until 10?

That’s my understanding. In past years I did this no problem, haven’t been in the covid era with Epcot opening at 10am. But when I e done it? It was lovely. Note: you have to enter through International Gateway.

If the park doesn't open until 10, it won't open before the park opens. If you are a resort guest, the park will open at 9:30 and you can go then (maybe a few minutes before that).

So I guess I was confused by some of the answers. In the past Les Halles opened before the rest of World Showcase. Is that no longer the case?

Yes, World Showcase doesn't open til 11. It still opens before that. But its not gonna be open before the park opens, nobody would be able to get to it.

I’m confused, I thought World Showcase opens with all of Epcot these days?

I’m referring to entering at International Gateway in the back entrance, right by France. Typically you can enter here early and eat at les Halles. Starting next week Epcot opens at 10am.

Epcot opens at 10, Early entry will start at 9:30. Les Halles would open at 9:30. World showcase would I guess technically be "open" (just to walk around plus the couple rides), but the shops/restaurants etc won't open til 11.

So I decided to go to the source, the Disney site. I’m at Epcot on October 15. The park opens that day at 10am but the site says Les Halles opens at 9am, in case that helps anyone.

Lol. The gates won't open until 9:15 at the earliest. Not sure who is going to be able to get there at 9.
