I have looked everywhere for a frame other than a custom one for my print of HH if you found one where?? This is driving me nuts!

Funny,I have been looking for one for my HH print also.I think this may drive me one of those do-it-yourslf places and induce me to make my own. It's too pretty to have it just sit there.

After many months of looking, we finally went to Michael's and bought a custom made frame. They were having a 50% off sale and we got the frame for $42 with tax. Even though the price was a little steep it looks great hanging on our wall.

We finally took our WLV print to a local craft store and had it framed and double matted for about $50. We ended up changing the matting because the frame we picked didnt go very well with the mattes DVC put on originally. It turned out looking very nice. We like many others looked for frames to fit and never could find one.

Yep, I had the same trouble with my BCV print. Finally went to Joann, etc with a 50% off coupon from the Sunday circular. Cost more than a premaid, but looks really great!

Whats a few more dollars on top of the thousands you spent to get the certificate?

Leaving in 10 hours for WDW

Hi.

I bought a ready-made black frame for our BCV print and just cut the top and bottom margins. You'd never know. $15.00.

I sure am glad that I do woodworking I made my own frames out of oak, did one for the OKW & BCV, if I have to say so that look pretty good!

Maybe a little side business?? Theoretically, what would you charge?

Paul

I'd like to know too!I'm not the handiest person in the world and I sure would love a frame for my print.

I had mine custom framed at a local frame shop for $22.95 each!! They had over 200 11"x14" frames to choose from. Annmarie

I could not find a frame to fit mine, so I got the closest size of one I liked and trimmed a bit off of one edge. Thought it was odd that DVC did not offer a frame to go with the prints (either free or at least an order form). I would have bought it just as a convenience.

I think a "10 X 13" sized frame is the nearest size you can find at local stores. I bought a couple of frames for our prints and DH was going to trim down the matt to fit...--still in the "to do" pile.

I've used the 50% off framing coupon at Michael's several times in the past--even so, can get expensive. One good thing though--at least it's done and you can hang it up!:p

I went to A.C. Moore got an 11x14 frame and made my own matte for the print. I think I paid about $15.00 for the frame. I have attached a photo of my print in the frame.

It's so funny that this thread is here now! I, too, have been looking for a frame for my BCV print.
I recently redid my entry way and the paint is light green, similar in color to the green on the print. The print is an odd size, so I was fortunate to today buy a frame. Being it is a hallway, I wanted something small, that doesn't stand out.
I found a $10 frame at Walmart today. It's 11X14, which is a little big for the print. But the frame came with a mat the same color as the mat that came with the print. When I put the print in, you can't even tell it's a little too small for the frame because the mats are the same color.
I'm so excited and love the fact I can be reminded of Disney when I walk in the door now every day!

Looks great Verandahman! I will be hitting AC Moore this week but now I have to deide if I am using the 70 % off framing or to frame my own!

has anyone tried the 10x13 frame, does it work, do have to trim it down? kohls carries alot of 10x13 and they are on sale 40% off,
please reply;)

I had a 10x13, but in order to get the print in with the matte it would have to be trimmed down a bit, and I didn't want to do that, that's why I went with a 11x14 frame and made my own matte to go with the one that came with the print. Go to the first page of this thread and you can see the photo I took of our print hanging on our wall.

I'm an owner at BWV and I don't recall ever receiving a print as part of our membership. Should I have or do you have to purchase it?

I received a BCV print when I first bought into DVC and then I received another BCV print when I did an add-on six months later. Not sure about the BWV's.
