FPs for friends not on reservation

I think I know the answer but I just need to talk it out to be sure. We are staying on site, have package tickets. We have some local-ish friends who are buying just daily tickets to meet us in the parks for a day or 2 and NOT staying on site or with us. We can't add them to our fast passes correct? Not like cheat the system and give them 60 day windows when they're not staying on site, like day of fast passes. They won't be in our party cause they're not on our reservation correct? Sorry if this is obvious and thanks!

No you are not correct.

Book FPs as a complete group after you add their tickets now, and they share your window.

Make sure they buy their tickets, link them to MDE and are also linked to your MDE through Friends and Family. When your 60 day window opens, you will, then, be able to make FP+ for them as well.
