We just took our son who is 2.5 yo. We stayed in the parks all day (basically open to about 9pm) and I had our FP starting around 9:30-10am, depending on the day and no later than 2pm so we could get some more in the afternoon/evening. My husband and I still like doing the thrill rides, so many of our FP were for those - Splash, BTRR, Space, SDMT, FOP, EE, ToT, and RnR. We did rider swap for them, and it gave my son a nice break from rides and the chance to have some ice cream or a popsicle in the shade.
I definitely recommend using FP for PP though! I decided to book it for both of our MK days and was so happy I did because my little guy LOVED flying in the boats and seeing Captain Hook. It doesn't hurt that I also love this ride!
For 4th FP and on in MK, we were able to get JC (he was asleep though), Pirates (he was a little scared, but he was also tired), Tomorrowland Speedway (twice - he loved it!), Barnstormer (twice in a row), and Winnie the Pooh. We rode standby for Little Mermaid (5 min), Small World (twice - 10 min wait, this was one of my son's favs!) and Haunted Mansion (10 min wait - he was a little nervous at first, but ended up loving the ghosts).
So, personally, I wouldn't use my first 3 FP on too many of the kid rides as they are pretty easy to get on using standby or 4th FP and on. But if you and your husband aren't planning to do the thrill rides, then just pick the rides yout hink your daughter would like the most! Plenty of time to repeat her favs, too.
