FP+window opening earlier than midnight at 60 days out?

My SIL is staying onsite and her 60 days in advance FP window opened Monday night at midnight. She logged in at about 10:30pm Florida time to practice in preparation for her midnight opening, and it was letting her book at that time. She had checked the night before and earlier in the day Monday and was not able to book, so I know she was on the correct night.

She said all A&E were gone for their 5 day stay already when she got on at 10:30pm, though she wasn't trying to get that, thank goodness. No issues booking anything else, even SDMT, for party of 7. She did not try to book any parades, fireworks, etc so can't speak to that availability. Not sure why the window opened AT LEAST 1.5 hours earlier than MN but it did. Might explain how others are unable to get A&E right at MN lately??

Probably not because of the early booking opening (if thats what occured, it was an oddity).

The issue is, you get 60+10 if you are staying on site. So if you have a 5 day stay....there are people who have had access to that batch of passes, who have longer stays (or are arriving before you) for awhile. I'd guess thats what you're bumping into.

The FP+ for those 5 days were gone before Monday night. As of right now they are gone through/including Sept 19th and the 60 day mark is the 14th. There just aren't enough to go around for Sept with the party days.

I am excited to hear about the window opening early. That is the second time I have heard that reported. I am going to be checking non-stop this upcoming Monday when my window is supposed to open at midnight.

I had the SAME thing happen to me and it was a computer glitch that only allowed me to do 7 days worth of FP+, our stay was longer than that. I was on the phone with Disney a total of 2 hours about this issue, to be told the first time I would have to let go the passes and try again the following day. I was apparently at 61 days vs 60 days. That was upsetting to me, the glitch caused me a huge headache and then Disney didn't take my complaint seriously until 4 phone calls later and over 2 hours on the phone about it. I guess they haven't fixed the glitch I ran into 2 months ago.

I made our FP recently - my window opened at 12:01 exactly - I was trying (via refresh) for about 10 minutes before that (it never hurts to try right?) So I would guess it's a periodic glitch.

That's odd, because my window started the same night, but at exactly midnight.

My window opened at 12:01am Eastern time fortunately I was in Las Vegas so I got to go on at 9:01

So it seems since she was able to "practice" that she does not have a room/ticket package. People who have a package cannot practice as their 60 day FP+ booking window will not open until exactly 60 days out.

I am only mentioning this as another "factor" in the mysterious early booking window glitch. Is she perhaps an AP holder?

You are correct she does not have a package because she has military salute tickets and a room-only reservation. No AP.
