For what it is worth: We are going to WDW in less than 30 days and I made our FP+ reservations today for all 11 of us. I had no problem getting the rides we want at the parks we plan to go to--most around the times I had wanted.

I just wanted to report this b/c I haven't seen anything from offsite guests on it. I am nervous about how being offsite will effect our touring but at least we were able to schedule the fast passes. We will not be buying the Magic bands--just cannot justify the cost when we can just scan the cards.

Nice! By chance were one of your MK selections Anna and Elsa?

My 30 days is at end of week but I was fooling around with dates and April and A&E seems hard to get...they are always greyed-out.

I did have one little odd thing happen. On one of our days, one of the family members on my account was greyed-out. We have a total of 11 people and I had no problem on any other day having all 11 of us on all rides. So, what I did, was the copy option: copied our fast passes to his for that day. Got all the rides and times correct. Not sure why that happened but I was able to fix it and keep us all together.

We are visiting (off-site) from 4/18 - 4/26. We sat down yesterday and mapped out exactly where we wanted to go each day and what Fast Passes we wanted. I went to the app first thing this morning and booked everything we planned. It was so simple! It is so nice to not have to worry about booking fast passes each morning when we get to the park! Now I just have to figure out if we can purchase MagicBands prior to our arrival. I want us to have them (especially for the kids) so we don't have to fish out our tickets each time we are getting on a Fast Pass ride.

How did you do your FP+ selections if you are staying off site? I thought it wasn't open to off site guests. I only ask because I have some family going in May and they are staying at Embassy Suites and I know they would like to do theirs ahead of time if possible. Thanks!

You just need to link your park tickets on the My Disney Experience website or app. Off-site guests can book fastpass+ 30 prior to their visit. Just went live this morning!

You can make fp+ for off site guests now 30 days in advance, just make sure your tickets are linked to your MDE account :)

Off site we're due in Orlando in 12 days ;)
Went online this morning and booked our Fast pass for all four parks, really seamless. So relieved so excited!

Thank you so much for posting this! I just went on the Disney site was able to book FP+ for four of my six park days (the rest are more that 30 days out now). :cool1::cool1:

Wondering how they know when you are coming. We have tickets linked, but I don't know how they would know when I will be arriving. I do have a dinner reservation for one night, but that is on our 4th night there. How do they know when to open your window?

For those that booked 30 days out, did you find that you were able to get all you wanted? Even Anna and Elsa? Even toy story mania? (Those are the two I am most stressed about for my trip in August)

I assume you can book for any date within the next 30 days. :)

Mrs. Green, We did not try for A&E bc our trip is this week and they are not FP-eligible yet. I would suggest trying to book from the fastest internet speed you have possible at midnight, the night of your 30-days from the day you want A&E. Maybe Practice a "dry-run" through the whole process using a day currently within 30 days, just to familiarize yourself with the whole process so you can move through it quickly. Be sure to cancel any "practice" FPs you set up so they don't prohibit you from setting up your real ones when the time comes. Good luck!

That is good advice! Thanks!!!
