Do all booked for a FP have to go in at the same time? Can 2 adults take the child on the ride, then the other 2 adults take the child on for a 2nd ride if it's still within the allotted time ?

Under 3 does not require a FP since they are not ticketed, so if you wanted to split the group so the child could ride twice, it would be allowed so long as the fastpasses are valid.

Sure. Answers to FP FAQs can be found in the green link in my signature.

You don't need to ride together. Theoretically each of the four of you could go in separately during your 1 hour window and ride individually with the child under 3, so yes you can split into two groups and have two adults ride with the child under 3, and then have the other two adults ride with the child under 3 again later as long as both occur inside the one hour window.
