FP vs. Interesting Queues

I know many of the rides in WDW have interesting or entertaining queues and that using a Fast Pass bypasses these queues. I don't want to miss out on these, so I'm thinking that I might want to hit some of the rides with interesting queues early in the day, then schedule FPs for those later in our stay if we want to ride again, once the queue has been experienced.

Can anyone offer any insight on which rides have "not to be missed" queues, and on which rides the queue doesn't really have any special appeal and should be candidates for first time FP use?

Thanks!

the 7DMT great for kids
Winnie the pooh for little ones is great I think my kids like the queue more than the ride itself
PeterPan new queue and you get pixie dusted you can miss that!
I wouldn't do Toy story is neat but not that great
none of Splash mountain, Big tunder railroad or Space Mountain are worth the wait
I would also do Test track is neat to get to design the car
And at expedition everest unless you are really into tibetan culture is not worth

On Test Track you still design the car with FP. Only single rider line misses out on that.

It's just me and DP, no kids. I actually like the idea of soaking up some Tibetan culture, as I doubt I'm going to be able to ever visit the real thing! :p
As far as the kid themed queues, I like to experience fantasy elements if done well and with an eye to being enjoyable to a wide range of ages. If just geared to the preschool set, then probably not as interested.

Any others want to weigh in? :)

then you would not want to do pooh the line is for little kids.

Peter Pan is very cool, even as just adults. Lots of things to look at.

Only queues I'd recommend personally waiting in if it's a short wait vs just FP for adults would be Peter Pan, Expedition Everest (not an interactive queue but very interesting artifacts), and that's about it.

7dmt, Pooh..those are both geared toward small children.

Big thunder has a couple cool interactive elements more for teens/adults.

What about the Haunted Mansion? I think I read on another thread that that has a new queue...
