Quick snapshot - last time we were there was Nov 2013 when Magic Bands were piloting and there were no "tiers"... We are a family of 5, me, husband, and 2 boys (8 + 10) and 1 girl (almost 5). We are arriving early afternoon on Nov 18 and staying through Nov 25. First 3 days at Port Orleans, last 4 days at Contemporary. Here are my priority lists for fastpasses:

Day 1 11/18 - MK Holiday Party, 4pm - 12am
7DMT
Peter Pan
Jungle Cruise

Day 2 - 11/19 - Epcot all day, we have an 8:10 am Akershus ADR so we will go right from there to Frozen Ever After and visit Anna and Elsa
Soarin (we plan to walk to Test track after FEA and walk on)
Mission Space Green
Spaceship Earth
**This is one I'm not sure we are choosing the right ones. We will not be in World Showcase after FEA on this day.

Day 3 - 11/20 - Animal Kingdom
Dinosaur
Expedition Everest
Kali OR Finding Nemo?
**this day is hard since ROL and nightime Safaris are not listed yet. I guess we can always edit. We also plan to leave and have a 5 pm dinner res at Sanaa and then the plan was to come back for nighttime stuff

Day 4 11/21 - no park, resort switch

Day 5 11/22 - Magic Kingdom day, Epcot evening (showcase and illuminations)
7DMT
BTMR
Buzz Lightyear

Day 6 11/23 - DHS (kids don't want to do Tower)
First ride will be RnR
Toy Story Mania
Star Tours
First TIme in Forever

Day 7 11/24 - Animal Kingdom then Magic Kingdom
8:25 am Tusker House ADR
We were planning on fastpasses for MK in the afternoon since it will be so crowded. Not sure what to choose here though we will go for 7DMT again

Thoughts on any of this? Thanks so much for any insight!

For 11/18: Book FPs for 3:30 4:30 and 5:30. If by chance you are unable to book using your MVMCP ticket, try again at the 30-day window.

Epcot day looks fine. :)

AniMal kingdom book the fp for kali not nemo. Kali had lines up to an hour when we were there last week. Nemo doesn't really need a fp but you can probably get a 4th fp to that after you use your Kali one

I would switch your FP to FEA on your Epcot day for a time a little later in the day. It might sound counterintuitive since you will be right next to it, but it's still a little temperamental, and it might not be working on the morning you are there. Pretty much everyone at Akershus pre park opening breakfast will be getting on this line, so it also won't be a straight walk on. Get to Akershus well before 8am so you can be seated as soon as possible. Ask your server to bring you the check asap so you can eat and leave whenever you are ready. Then I would head over to Test Track before the park opens to ride standby and then cross the park to do the same with Soarin. Wait times for Soarin have certainly improved with the extra theater. While this approach isn't the most efficient as it requires heading in a few different directions, it's the best way to ensure you ride FEA without waiting for hours and the Anna and Elsa meet and greet wait times are pretty manageable no matter what the time. The FP is really essential if you want to mitigate the risk of a ride breakdown. And I speak this from personal experience-I had the same plan as you did and the ride was shut down and we never got to ride it.

oh geez that sucks I'm sorry! Ugh, I wasn't thinking about the possibility of that. We definitely can't miss this ride if at all possible so I appreciate the insight!

Can I ask how this went today for you?
FEA in particular. My FP day is tomorrow and I'm stressing!
Was there FEA availability?
