I am using touringplans.com for my crowd calendar and I have set up some personalized touring plans there. On Sunday, June 5th, we have a full day planned for MK with a 10:15 ADR at CP, break after that, back for a 3:30 Pirate's League appt for 4 yr old, planning dinner at CHH around 6pm. I worked the touring plan based on what attractions we would like to do but not crisscrossing the park AT ALL. Touringplans then evaluated and gave me the estimated wait times for all the scheduled attractions. Nothing had more than a 14 minute wait - and most well under that - until Splash Mtn which we are scheduled to ride around 5. After that, Peter Plan, scheduled to ride around 6:30, and 7DMT, scheduled to ride around 7. After that, there is only 1 other attraction - ETWB - that is an estimated wait longer than 15 min (it is estimated at 16 min).

This touring plan has us fitting in 15 attractions, even with a 3 to 3.5 hour mid day break. So I wasn't really worried about scheduling the FP so late in the day. But now, I'm wondering if I shouldn't change the day around to move my FP selections to earlier to be able to get additional FP. Touringplans doesn't seem to think we will need many additional, if at all, that day....

Does anyone else use TP.com? I've heard many, many good things about accuracy, which is why I went with them.

For info purposes, we are doing 2.5 days at MK, 3 adults, 2 boys age 4 and 2. Sunday would be our 2nd day at MK, but our first full day.

Any opinions would be appreciated....

We don't use touring plans, but it's showing all your attractions having 14 min or less?? Especially during the summer...I think your waits are going to be considerably longer.

Only on the Sunday. The Saturday waits are much longer. My friends go around this time every year and agree with the wait times. Not to say it's "dead" but it's before most schools are out for summer break. And because we have kids and we are going 2.5 days, we aren't hitting many of the extremely popular attractions all in one day. Idk. Makes sense but I may go ahead and rearrange the day before we have to book FP in 2 months.

I use touring plans a lot, and have planned many days using their personalized plans. Their wait times are fairly accurate when their daily prediction is accurate. The problem is their daily predictions are very inconsistent, so I have learned to use common sense when planning my day with their wait times.

We would need to see your exact plan from touring plans, otherwise there are too many variables to know how accurate their wait times are. It depends a lot on what attractions you are doing, and at what times you are doing them.

One thing I can guarantee, if you are doing Splash, PP, and 7DMT between 5 and 7pm, then you definitely need FPs for all 3 rides to avoid over an hour wait. Also, none of those 3 rides are likely to be available for a 4th FP. If you do move your day around, these 3 rides need a FP or do one of them at rope drop. Feel free to post your plan if you want some more advice.

OK, I will do post it in the reply below this one. Thank you!

The first number after the time of day is the wait time, hope that isn't too confusing...

Doesn't seem too bad. However I'd expect longer waits than what they give you for Pirates, It's a small world, & Dumbo

I wouldn't make any changes in your FP+ if I were you. You will be saving a lot of waiting time by having them for those 3 particular attractions (Splash, Peter Pan, and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train). And you don't really have a time earlier in the day to be using FP+. You certainly won't need them in the morning.

I think the plan is very reasonable, except I'm not sure about the 3 hour break. Don't know what transportation you'll be using, or how far away you are staying, but we usually figure that from the time we start leaving a park it's about an hour before we're finally back to our hotel room. And ditto for the return time. So for something like a 3-hour "break" we would end up with only about an hour at the resort, which is just not enough time for rest and/or swimming.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I can't do much about the Pirate's wait, but we could possibly get an additional one for Dumbo after 7DMT if the wait time is incredibly long. Of course the boys may want to play around in the queue so that may not be necessary. I could totally switch 7DMT and IASW if I had to, if that wait was long enough to warrant a FP and try to grab one right after 7DMT for it.

Yes, I agree with you on not changing the FP selections. I could possibly move some attractions around to use up the initial FP sooner, such as switching 7DMT and IASW but there isn't a whole lot of room to move them around, unless we want to criss cross the park and we definitely want to avoid that as much as possible.

As for the break...yes, we are a little concerned with that. We actually don't have to be back at the park til 3:30 (well probably 3:15) for my son's Pirate's League appt at 3:30. So I figured we could get 2 hours (leave 11:30, back to AoA at 12:30, leave AoA at 2:30 to be back for the 3:30 appt) for the break. Probably not enough for swimming that day but maybe a rest and a bath. I tried to get a later PL appt but that was the latest they offer and I am consistently checking CP to get an earlier breakfast but nothing has shown up yet (maybe closer to the trip).

For info purposes: we mostly plan to drive our own car and my dad has a handicap placard so we do get to park in the front spaces. However, I read that its quicker from AoA to MK riding the bus so we need to figure out which we will be doing. I think we plan to take the bus in the AM but maybe drive car back in the afternoon, so we will have it when we drive back that night and the kids are falling asleep on a bus and also because I heard the buses aren't as frequent during the mid-day.
