My DH and I will be coming to WDW 3/14-3/22 with a 3 and 6 year old. We know it will be busy for spring break. We will do RD and I'd planned all of our FP+ in the afternoon hoping SB lines first thing in the morning won't be bad. However after reading some posts, I'm scared the FP lines in the afternoon will be outrageous. For those that have gone recently, would you recommend morning FPs or leaving them in the afternoon? We have scheduled them mainly for Fantasyland rides with the occasional BTMRR and SM in there.

After reading all posts regarding FP+ lines, I don't think you have to worry. The length of the line does not translate directly to the time spent in that line. It appears to be an unexpected consequence of the scanning process for MB at the Mickey readers and the number of FP+ distributed overall. Hopefully Disney will do a better job of queue management by Spring Break so at least you'll know where the line ends and how long before you can ride using FP+.
