I'm sure this has been asked somewhere, but I'm hoping someone can give me a quick answer. I understand that Epcot and HS are the 2 parks that currently have tiering in effect, correct? Is there any way to book a FP+ for 2 rides in the same tier on the same day? I will be using FP+ for the first time in Apr for a quick weekend girls trip so I need to get educated. Thanks in advance!

You can't book two tier 1 in the same day. Search for Mesaboy's FP+ summary - it has all the info you need (a link to it is in his signature)

You can select one from Tier 1 and 2 from Tier 2, so yes, you get two from the same tier in a day but they are both Tier 2. Hope that helps.

There is a comprehensive list on how best to use FP+ and plenty of information about it by Mesaboy2. Having tech issues today and can't seem to post a link right now for some reason. Perhaps someone will help you out with that

I do not mean to hijack this thread, for I feel this is related to the title and original question. Is it expected that Disney will begin the Tier system in parks other than Epcot and HS?

Thanks all. I am subscribed to his thread. I just didn't see that specific answer. It is full of great info!

many people think they will tier MK when the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train opens.

It's in the first post.

Specifically:

Parks With FP+ Tiering

In these parks (currently Epcot and Hollywood Studios), FP+ attractions are divided into two groups. Guests are able to make 1 selection from Group 1, and 2 selections from Group 2. This is ostensibly to spread crowds more evenly among all FP+ attractions. The list above uses the following scheme (applying to the attraction's name) to identify FP+ attractions in Group 1 and Group 2:

Attraction X - indicates a Group 1 attraction.
Attraction Y - indicates a Group 2 attraction.

I will admit that section is kinda buried, but I tried to highlight it's importance by using red.

Thanks! I did read that. I guess I was just wondering if there was any way you could get more than one from tier 1, perhaps maybe the day you are at the park or something, or maybe after you've used 1 from the tier 1 group, could you then get another tier 1 the day of use. I should've worded my question better. :) I understand and do see in your post about the initial selection of FP+. Thanks!

You can have one Tier 1 attraction and two Tier 2 attractions. That's it. Use that Tier 1 for Toy Story and you can't have one on the same day for Rockin Roller Coaster. Even after you use the Toy Story one.

Nope.
