So it seems like most people go two ways on their FP strategy. One would be to book FPs for the mornings, get them over with quickly, and get a 4th or 5th additional FPs (if available). But lines are usually shorter in the mornings so is it worth it-and would you be able to get additional ones especially when the crowds are high?
The other strategy I've been seeing is to book FP for the afternoons, go to the parks early, ride the popular ones first thing when lines are relatively low, and use the FPs later. This would mean that they won't be able to get additional FPs until later in the afternoon when availability would be low.
I'm going in late December/close to New Years when it's going to be super crowded, so I'm not sure which strategy to use. On one hand, I feel like FPs would be gone quickly so I should just go with the 2nd strategy, but on the other hand, if its really crowded I feel like wait times in the morning will be just as long anyway, which pushes me more towards the first strategy....
Any thoughts or inputs?
