FP strategy during morning EMH?

What is your FP strategy during morning EMH at each park? What FP do you go get first...and then go to what ride/attraction first?

For MK and an 8 year old boy we would rope drop to Buzz while one parent picked up FP at Pooh. After Buzz (5-6) times we would wander toward Pooh and hit anything light (Raceway or Teacups without too much spin). As soon as a window opened up for FP it would usually be for Splash or BTMR. Space Mountain was too dark for him.

At AK we would get the FP for Kali River (hopefully after the day warms up or dinaosaur).

Used single rider for Test Track and also plan for that for Soarin'.

Never really use at MGM...

Can you get a fast pass during EMH. If you cannot what would your stratagey be to see what during EMH and where to be when the rope drops for the rest of the park?

My dh is the designated FP runner. We have young children, so our strategies are based on that and, we generally only do FP's at MK since we dont ride a lot of FP attractions at other parks.

MK:
Dh grabs Buzz FP's while we hit dumbo. We meet over at Peter pan and do the rest of fantasyland then head to Tomorrowland, usually now it's time for Buzz, we do that then dh grabs FP's for Space Mountain while we head over to the other side of the park and do HM and Pirates. As soon as the window opens he'll grab BTMRR FP's. We then grab the train to toon town and walk to Space Mt. Back to Toon Town for a bit, grab the train and hit the FP for BTMRR.

We also use the strategy of getting fast passes with the kids tickets on rides that we baby swap for so we can ride twice or like at BTMRR and Splash, he'll get ours at one and the kids at the other so we can swap and do them both really close together.

Well, you can *get* a FP during the EMH, but if you get one at 8:00am at the MK, the return time likely won't be until 10:05am, so you won't actually be able to *use* it during EMH.

holy moley!! I hope I am not at the same park as you guys!! I will be the lady in the back, strolling along, seeing what I can see, and ending up in the back of the line!!! I am trying REALLLLLY hard to come up with a touring plan but having not been there since high school without three kids and a dh...I really have no idea where to start, I am still stuck WAAAY back in PS and what days to tour which park!!!

we usually go right to buzz get that out of the way or dumbo. than the rest of fantasyland. we usually try and FP Buzz and peter pan one more time before we leave after lunch.
