FP+ splitting rides question/ sharing magic bands

I'm confused. 2 questions:


#1

For FP+ neither DH or I do the big rides, can we put in separate rides for the 2 of us and separate rides for DD and DS?

For example DHS:

If DD and DS sign up for TOT , do DH and I have to get the same FP+ or can we choose different ones

DHS again. If we choose Rock 'N Roller coaster for all of us, can DD and DS go with their bands, and then put on our bands and go again?

1. You can schedule different FP for different members of your group.

2. Yes you can switch bands. We have done this on 2 trips now and haven't had any problems.

As long as your kids are old enough to ride alone, yes to both. Everybody can have different FP+ choices, and although you may get some differing opinions on whether switching bands is Disney legal or not, it has been fine to do so far.

Just so you know, RnRC has a single rider line. If your kids are fine riding with a stranger you could use those FP for another tier 1 attraction instead.

I have not personally done it, so don't take my word alone, but it is my understanding that the answer to both of your questions would be yes.
