It’s less than 60 days till D-day!

Flights, hotel, dining plan, ADRs, FP+, tour, 1st visit/celebration buttons, MBs… Everything is arranged. How to pass the time? It feels like it’s going to take forever till D-day… How do I survive that long wait??? What do you do when everything is arranged and planned?

Leave around 3pm from the hotel. We both fly at 7:30pm

I usually start packing. ha ha. packing and repacking. Going over my list. You could do a countdown calendar and do something fun everyday. We have a Disney desktop calendar and my kids look forward to flipping the days and then we watch all or some of the movie that is on the calendar.

lol I am only I think 26 days out?I just finished my 30 day fp passes last night and was asking the same thing...now what!.. I still have to plan my dinners.. I had to wait until I had my fp planned . We don't have the dining plan so are very open. But I saw the prices so I had to regroup!! But now I am ready so I guess I can keep busy doing that. ...lol I keep changing my times for fps too. I can't stay off the darn disney sites!

I found something to do! One month before having lunch at BOG, you can already pre-order what you want to eat! :D

(next step, Disney will ask you to schedule your bathroom breaks 15 days in advance so they will know how many cleaners they need to schedule for that park/hour)

I keep tinkering with the plans. I research different things to add and do. I start making lists. I overthink. ;)

Jealous!! I can't wait till my FP are booked!! My window's not till September 11th. I spend lots of time right here on the DIS! It helps me pass the time and learn lots, not to mention get a few laughs in as well!! I'm still constantly checking the dining site, too. Never know what else might pop up!! Have fun!!

I am no where near my 60 day mark and I just sit around thinking up possible touring plans and when to get FPs. To make it more interesting we are going to bring some other MBs and use them for SDFPs. This make the planning more involved because I want to use the other bands as a way to make the trip better without relying on them because you never know what kind of FPs you will get each day.

How about this...our 60 days was Monday morning. I got up a few hours early to ensure we could get SDMT because my oldest really wants to ride it. I got that and of course 14 other fast passes. I put them on my September spreadsheet and sent it to DW. Her response "I just want the kids to get to do what they want." So I guess I'll spend the next 58 days tweaking each days worth of fastpasses to make sure both boys get what they want which will probably lead to this :drinking1

Things I will be doing:

I plan to spend obscene amounts of time and money shopping for outfits for DD (turning 3 at WDW) and myself.

I also have started making up little PowerPoint sheets with our itinerary - photos and descriptions of attractions and restaurants - for each day of our trip so my parents can (hopefully) get really excited.

And listening to my husband tell me I am insane.

I will add listening to my wife tell me I am insane!

All of these are soooo true!! :yay:

I'm constantly redoing our itinerary, and for no reason! Just because I want to! And I'm glad someone else's hubby thinks they're crazy, too. Mine's constantly shaking his head at me whenever I mention the trip.

Thanks for all the ideas! :) I use Excel for my planning, never thought about using PowerPoint. I might give it a try, sounds as an interesting tool. :)

It will be the first visit for my partner in crime and I need to re-think my current plans. We went to DLP last week and I forgot how often she stops to take pictures! We are both AP-holders there and have been to DLP a dozen times, but still she has made over 500 pics in 2,5 days... Her pictures are great, worth the time to stop for and we have plenty of time. But I do worry about my RD plans. Maybe schedule a picture-break or agree on mornings for touring, afternoons for pictures. ;-)

She is a Disney maniac, only she leaves all the planning to me. I did give her options with the ADR (do you want English (Rose & Crown) or German (Biergarten) kitchen, etc), furthermore, it's all my pick. So she didn't really understood that I took a few hours off work to schedule our FP's (opening window was 6 a.m. I went back to bed afterwards and went to work at 12 :) ). Or that I was really happy to get 7DMT FP twice, one time during the day and one time after dark.

Furthermore, she wants to be surprised, so can't really discuss anything. Can't wait till we get to the park for her to discover the magic shots with memory maker, or her face when she finds out that she can meet Tarzan in AK (won't tell her till right before the meet)

And I do have some shopping to do, I have lost 2 dress sizes since we had a decent summer here in NL. New outfits! And new shoes!

I wish I was only 60 days away...sigh...just booked today and I am super antsy to get to the next step...think I will have to pop in a disney planning dvd or movie or something to get me through this week...

If I was 60 days away, I would finish off every last piece of laundry and start thinking about packing...planning outfits for the boys...and finishing up road trip supplies (and surprises)...and then I might hit my disney nesting zone where I have to make sure everything in the house is 100% organized so I don't forget anything for the trip...which I think I have pretty much started a bit early...

I am in the same predicament! lol. Just did my FPs last night and now I'm just sitting here like :rolleyes1

I'm so busy that it seems like the time until our trip will fly by. I have to make a Cinderella dress for my sister in law to wear at DD's birthday party, host a birthday party, plan a baby shower, work 48-60 hrs a week between now and then, pack, make trip shirts, possibly make a Cinderella dress for my friends 2 year old. So much to do, so little time.

I am at 35 days!! And I am literally climbing the walls with excitement.

Every day I log into MDE and check I am happy with everything. I then spend my evenings on here, or on YT watching Disney Videos!

Although I booked my dentist appointment the other day - and it's for the 9th September. OH went "we'll be back from Disney by then"... how rude!! Totally burst my bubble. I don't like it being over.

I have the same! My vacation is badly timed and the moment I return a new campaign will start at work.
I miss the last two weeks of the preparation, so I have to arrange everything now! Everyone is asking me when I will be back...
And I already know that I will suffer from serious After Disney Depression when I return, it'll take at least one week before I can think about work again.
