FP & Rider Swap in Toy Story land

Hi! I'm making fast pass selections Thursday! We have a group of 6, 3 Adults, 6yo (48in), 4yo (42in) and 6 months. For Toy Story Land I'm thinking of splitting our group and getting FP for 2 adults and 1 kid on Slinky dog, and 1 adult 1 kid on Aliens. Then using rider swap for the groups to ride the other ride. Sound like a good plan??? Also, does a child have to have an adult to sit next to on Slinky dog? Can you do three to a car with little ones? Also can you do 3 to a car on Thunder mountain? I remember riding with myself, my sister and daughter when she was 3 years ago.
