I haven't read any talk about booking FP+ selections on your "break" days. I am going down at the end of April so my 60 Day window is opening up slowly. I am staying off site but booked 1 day onsite to be able to pre book everything. My thought process is since I have bought a 10 Day no expiry ticket with park hopper and water parks the FP+ system will allow me to book as many days that are on my ticket. I only planning on being in the park on 4 of the 6 days that I'm in Orlando. I will take one day and use it in one of the water parks and then just one off day so my DD 5 and DS 2 can rest around the rental house/pool.
As I cannot predict the weather once I am down there I plan on booking FP+ for each of the 6 afternoons of my vacation but will only use 4. I figure this would get me the best opportunity to pick parks based on weather especially my off day in the water parks and still keep my park options available.
Does this make sense? Has anyone else done it?
I feel a bit wrong in knowing that I wont be using them but I can rationalize it by the fact that the FP+ lines will be 3 short on my days off and move faster!
Am I able to cancel them once I know that I wont be using them so off-site guests can rebook them at RD?
