FP Question

My fastpass window opens the 31st. We are currently set to arrive on October 30th. We are thinking of adding two days at the beginning of our trip. I am scared to add the hotel, book fastpasses my entire stay and then if I have to cancel the two days we add losing ALL my fastpasses.

IF I add the 28th and 29th (It will be a separate reservation on property) and book my fastpasses, if I end up canceling prior to arrival will I lose ALL of my fastpasses? We have separate tickets already. We are doing a day at universal and by adding the two days we won't be adding park days because we will add another day at universal and a rest day or two rest days in our stay instead. I am just worried about booking and getting a SDD, FOP, 7DMT FP then losing them....

"Scared" is not a good way to look at a WDW vaca.
