FP question

We haven't been to Disneyworld since they started the MB and fast pass in advance. I've made our fast pass selections. Am I understanding correctly that once we've used our 3 FP for the day, we can still go to a kiosk and try for 3 more? or is it 1 more? Can I do it from an app.? And now that most everyone is making their selections in advance of their trips, what are our chances of getting FPs for popular rides in the evening, if our last morning FP is done at noon? (We're going early August.) Thanks for the info.

After you use your initial 3 you can book in increments of 1 at an in-park kiosk. So, after you book and use your 4th, you'll head back to a kiosk to book your 5th, and so on. Most attractions save for the very popular headliners tend to have some same-day availability, but the times are usually not the greatest.

Make a fourth fp for anything at the kiosk, then you can change the ride or time on your own.
