I wanted to double check before attempting to make changes.

I have a family of 5 (2 adults, 6, 4 and 1 year olds). We are touring Epcot & WDW 1 day each. I didn't fully understand what I was doing when making FP reservations. At Epcot, my husband's FP+ reservations are just for him while I have the older two children on mine.

So, for example, he has a FP for Test Track alone and I have one for Soarin with the two older children. I don't think he will actually ride by himself and would rather make the most of riding with the children. In this case, is there any way that a child who meets height requirement can ride with my husband on test track (using rider swap or something I'm not understanding) or only if that child has fast pass for that ride?

I'm considering trying to get my husband FP switched to same timeframe on same attractions as ours (not likely with Soarin' I know). Can he do rider swap on rides where I have a FP and he does not?
Thank you for your help!

He will qualify for rider swap only if one of your children is too short to ride that attraction.

He would have to ride Test Track alone via the FP line and then 3 people can ride on the swap.

It would be better to have 1 adult and 1 child have the Test Track FP or any height restriction ride then on the swap, 3 people get to ride.

You can have FPs for 6 height restriction rides by splitting up your group.
