FP+ question about 7 days limit

I will be arriving a couple days earlier than the rest of my party, and staying at a different resort while on my own. If I book some FPs for myself for the first couple days, does that count toward the 7 day limit for booking FPs in advance? Could I then only book 5 days of FPs for the whole group, since I'm a common denominator in both scenarios? Or is it kind of like 2 separate stays, where my days of FPs don't impact the number of days of FPs for the large group?

If you are staying on-site, there is no 7 day limit. If not, the limit is not tied to where you are staying, or when you are staying, so it would be a problem.

If I am staying 5 days onsite and then 5 days offsite and have a 10 day ticket, will I be able to make 10 days worth of FP+ reservations at the 60 day mark, or only 7 days worth.

I would say only the number of days tied to your reservation at 60 days. The rest will have to wait until you are 30 days out.

You will be able to make 5 days of FP+ all at once at 60 day mark, and then one day at the time at 60 day mark for additional 5 days if those days are following your onsite stay. I am not sure though, how long the ability to schedule FP+ at 60 day rolling continues before it switches back to 30 day rolling.
