FP - Older Tickets and Children

Please excuse me if this has been asked before. I tried to search, and I didn't come up with any results for this issue.

We are headed to WDW in December for 4 days. We have 4-day ticket for the 4 year old. 2 year old is free. The adults are redeeming old tickets from 2000, which have 1 day left on each, and I've purchased 3-day tickets to make up for the last 3 days.

Our FP window opened today, and I have FP for the last three days for all of us, and only the 4 year old has one for the first day.

Some questions:

Has anyone had any luck with scanning and sending, or calling WDW, to have the old ticket converted and add to their reservation on MDE? I don't mind doing it when we get there but then we can't schedule FP in advance.

What happens to the 4 year old's FP for the first day if we don't have any? She's too young to go by herself. Will I need to reschedule hers in the park, or will they let an adult go with her?
